Happy Hydroponicing!
Been waiting for this. Thanks for the update on this one
Got notified on a video that’s still processing. Good job YouTube.
Quick and Easy: Hydroponic Nutrient Solution Hack
https://youtu.be/UBD-iT1hhts
Is anyone researching ways to produce all the nutrients, balancers and additives off-grid at home? These systems are great for lazy gardeners and bulk producers, but so long as you have to keep buying the nutrients from elsewhere, they’ll never attract and win over the off-grid crowd.
Great video as always Hoocho.
What’s the water temperature in the buckets? I tried kratky on my Bangkok balcony but with bucket temp reaching 35c it didn’t work that well.
Try wrapping your bucket(s) in reflective insulation, like the aluminized bubble wrap type.
13:48 Frog!
A good G&T for the planets!
A spring on your door would keep a lot of insect pests out of your grow room. Whether it’s plant pests attracted by the smell of juicy young plants, or mosquitoes attracted by the water, you need something that will shut the door when you’ve got your hands full, but not actually latch it shut so you can still open it easily while you’ve got your hands full.
Hey Hoocho what is the sap brix reading results with your nutrient solution? And how many of the 70 minerals are absorbed by your plants.
I’d immediately drain half the buckets you filled up @ 11:00. Roots need oxygen and I believe only around 1/3 of the roots need to be in the water
Awesome video Hoocho!!
Ok you talked me into it. Printing now. 👍🏻
nice lids and risers. Especially the inverted saucer. Topping up indeed my worries as well. So good you tested. Video a bit dizzying though
🌱
1ml per litre of 3% hydrogen peroxide per litre on top up will stop any harmful pathogens and keep those roots white and healthy.
Can you do a video on the Multi-Flex 6 Bucket Maxi Channel that is in your shop
Infinite kratky could be a good way to lower the maintenance; add an extra bucket with a float valve feed from a reservoir and link them all together on with irrigation line on the same level.
Thanks Hoocho
I love the risers! Brilliant!
I guess they will also get the plants some additional airspace for the roots.
The Setup is just lovely!
Im thinking..
Aside air;
touching roots.🤔 that is an important factor for plants. they share nutrients and related information, over their rootsystems naturally. … organic- and permaculture- folks talk about it a lot.
I just need to convince my hardware store to stock cheap black buckets. 😢
