  • Stefan Avalos says:

Bravo on the foggers.. and the choice of clothing for your talent. 🙂

  • somil rastogi says:

How does following factors influences the fog  1) ceramic disc (moc) ,2) dics size 3) amount of fog generated 4) what if you want to make mist of any other liquid say milk, honey etc.

    • The House of Hydro says:

The ceramic disc is faster than the brass discs, so you will have higher output. The size is also an output factor. Milk would probably work, honey is too thick.

  • Barley innit? says:

looking at this for cloning, do you have to top it up regularly in a closed environment?

    • The House of Hydro says:

No, but you do need to pay attention to the water level for sure. There is truly no better way to clone. These create the perfect environment.

  • akash katkar says:

hey if i plan on using it for continuously for a whole plant cycle.. what is the best time ratio i should use to keep it on and off .. i was thinking “on” for 1 minute and “off” for 3 minutes or any other number of short multiple cycles (what do you recommend) where the roots don’t dry off .. because i already have one and it seems to heat the water up so i a mainly doing this as a heat issue

    • The House of Hydro says:

It varies for every application. See how long it takes to get maximum fog density inside your roots zone, and then see how long it takes for it to dissipate. This will be you cycle. If the roots tend to dry out a little bit, reduce your off time.

      Stay foggy,

      John

    • akash katkar says:

      thanks

    • akash katkar says:

what is the maximum ppm possible while using these ultrasonic mister ?

  • KarnivorousKirby says:

I just bought a single disc mist maker with the splash guard for my carnivorous plant terrarium and it works amazingly. The float it comes with keeps it at the optimum water level and I added the splash guard so there’s no waste of water, it also arrived in two days. I’m truly impressed with this company and will recommend any day.

  • Michael Corbin says:

Just bought one of these: it works perfectly for mushroom cultivation, especially paired with a programmable timer or rH sensor. Thanks!

    • Just In says:

I want it for a similar reason. My indoor garden gets too dry with the lights are on. Sitting at an insanely low 30% rh. When it’s got to be around 50-70% rh.

    • Carlos Garcia says:

do you remember what % rh you were getting with this humidifier and what dimensions your fruiting chamber were?

    • Michael Corbin says:

@Carlos Garcia My Martha was 28″x18″x64″ and this was capable of maintaining over 95%rh with 5 to 10 minutes per hour operation.

  • T B says:

Is it normal to have to replace the discs? How long do the units last in general? I’m wondering because with hydroponics you need it to not fail or your plants die.

    • The House of Hydro says:

D B yes, you will ultimately need to replace it. With a house of hydro kit you will get a spare three-pack of disks with the unit and You can also clean them with vinegar.

The lifespan varies based on a few different things like water temperature, quality, run times, Etc. You will get a couple years out of it though. As with anything that has a critical component, you should definitely consider getting a backup.

  • pgv18091 says:

Omg, that’s a beautiful fogger, fogged my lenses right up

  • Jeff B says:

I’ve watched this several times to see the function of 1 head. Not only do I NOT see any foggers, but the only head I see functioning is one of my own…

Just kidding, thank you for showing me how to use these things. ❤That voice is why men go to war ❤
Your links on your website are not connected to these, it goes to the main page. Happy fogging

  • Jessica says:

    Thanks for the video ✌

  • Maggi Leatherwood says:

I wanted to find out if you have the replacement disc for smaller units than the 20 mm? I have a mister that is just a bit smaller that the disc is broken and I want to replace it.

  • Andrew Grindley says:

These look incredible. I had a USB powered Mist Maker that completely stopped working within a week. And when looking for a new one on eBay I came across a whole bunch of mist makers from random sellers, most of which had LEDs, so I wasn’t sure about buying those units as I didn’t know how long they’d last. I eventually came across this company from this video and thought that your units are amazing. After reading the reviews and watching more videos, I decided that one day I would buy one of your units. I eventually bought a 1 head unit with the tough coat and the 230v UK power supply. It’s on its way at the moment and I can’t wait for it to arrive.

    • The House of Hydro says:

Thanks! That’s how I got into this business over a decade ago. There was a desperate need for units that weren’t junk! If you have any questions at all, just shoot me an email at John@thehouseofhydro.com

    • Andrew Grindley says:

@The House of Hydro thanks. I love that it comes with a free float. Also just wondering if the 230v adapter has a UK or EU plug on the end as the picture on your website shows an EU plug.

  • Narancssárga Kisgömböc Zrt says:

    Thanks for thorough insight

  • homegrowntwinkie says:

Came for the thumbnail, rewatched three times because I really need humidity in my grow tent lmao

  • Om Namah Shivaye says:

Have watched the video 5 times already. Hopefully this time i will look at mist maker

  • B!tchSlapper says:

    She’s got my eyes tearing🤤

  • Steven Adams says:

I want to know, if & how to open the unit from the Bottem? And if I remove the led lights will it still function or will water get in were leds use to be?
Can I paint over the leds?
As leds will intro light source to roots & dev root rot, algae etc etc
I want use the mister but not the dozen or so leds lights around it?

    What’s my best option
    Remove them
    Or
Paint over them to blacken them out?

    Cheers 🍻

    • The House of Hydro says:

Hi, good to hear from you. This is a pretty old video, and we have since removed the LED lights. They’re currently no LED lights at all on our units, so no worries 🙂

  • silver passion says:

Tks for the vid. May I know whats the wattage of the mist maker in your video? Just wanna know the power consumption. Can it turn on for 24 hrs without overworking the gadget or recommended to off it every night. Tks

  • Thiccle Chin says:

I want to use this for a mushroom grow tent and i am questioning the effectiveness of this. I have a tent that is about 60” tall and 23” wide and 23” long. Will this be enough juce?

    • The House of Hydro says:

Hi, absolutely! Our single disc units can handle up to a 2x4x6 Martha tent. You can check out the FAQ section on our website for sizing information as well as other build, care, and maintenance tips! ThehouseofHydro.com

  • Jon Anthony says:

Great video! I have a question; what is the average micron/droplet size of the fog? I am trying to do some research in terms of optimal droplet size for root growth.
