Wow
Yes I dud know, because there are so many of these videos.
This was part of Epcot over 35 years ago.
I want one so bad. Where?
It depend on where you live. If put outside in the South the water would get too hot and cook the roots.
You also have to change the water often. If you ever own an aquarium you know water is Heavy to tote and replaced
I love mine. Who knew I’d be growing tomatoes in May in Washington.
Does it actually work as well as videos show? Could you share your experience?
@Franek Grabowski it really does. Ive had to start my tower over but, my lettuce is growing faster than I can eat it and I’m dehydrating all the herbs. It’s a bit spendy to start but monthly payments make it bearable. In the end, totally worth it if you can do it.
@Lindsey Thurgood Thank you! I will definitely give it a go one day
tower garden use liquid fertilizer, so in a certain way, you dont learn how to feed a soil to make it healthy. healthy soil with bacteria and fungus, will always give better result than liquid fertilizer.
when you work with soil, it’s a real science. We should learn agriculture to school.
I couldnโt agree more ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ
The plants need specific nutrients regardless of whether they are grown in soil or water. Most people choosing to do in water choose the premade chemical fertilizers because they want the easy way out, but if a person is willing to take the time to learn how to do it based on the individual plant needs they will be a better farmer regardless of the medium.
The advantage of hydroponics, aquaponics and airoponics is that you can have a garden even if you don’t have land or even dirt. If you live in the city in a townhouse with a yard of only 12X10 you could grow a lot more plants in a few towers than you would be able to in that small yard. Or on your balcony or even inside in an extra bedroom or even a single tower by the kitchen could be sufficient to grow all the lettuce you need if staggered.
It doesn’t necessarily have to be only one or the other. You could have a great traditional garden but if you have long winters you could still grow plenty of greens indoors during the winter. Or not.
Let’s see your crop please..
If you can yield a crop as abundant as this from soil please make a video and teach everyone your expertise
