Does this need a lot of electricity?? Can it be grown indoors.
Yes, you can set up these aeroponic towers indoors. The towers don’t use as much electricity as one would expect. Each tower uses a low-wattage submersible pump that operates at 45 watts for 4.8 hours of irrigation per day (3 min. on and 12 min. off). This means that at $0.18 kWh (average cost of electricity for households in the USA), it only costs about $1.20 in electricity per tower per month.
