I have been told that nutrients are not carried in the fog produced by these? Just vaporized water?
Wow, just saw this. No, the nutrients are definitely carried by the fog. You do need to use water-soluble nutrients though.

Sorry for the necro-post, but it’s exactly the opposite. Normal evaporation will just take the water, but spraying (ultrasonic foggers basically produce a very fine spray) carries everything that was in the water
I need to increase the humidity of a secret jardin 4footX4footX8foot tent. I know it all depends on my airflow etc… but I am looking to fill some sort of res once every 3 days and have my tent be filled with humidity. What would you recommend? Please respond or call me. Thanks!

Excellent video, I recently bought a mist maker humidifier, I ask you a question after using it, do you have to take it apart and dry it? this does not appear in the manual, thank you very much

No, it does not need to be taken apart and dried out unless it is malfunctioning. then it is a good idea to pull all of the discs out and check for any moisture underneath of them. My fog machine doesn’t seem to be sitting at the right depth. I always need to jiggle it to get it to make fog
Make sure to check the black float that it sits in. It is a two-part float that needs to be fully pressed together. There is an inside ring shaped like a donut that can sit a little bit too low in the shell. Make sure to push that all the way up inside the external shell to hold it at the proper level in the water. That should work for you
how long does the fog last before it evaporates?
And really depends on how thick the fog is coming out of your setup. Depending on what you are trying to do with it, if it’s for special effects, you can add Just a dash of standard fog machine juice to increase the visibility, and the longevity of the fog.
We often sell these too special effects companies that use them for stage productions in lieu of standard fog machines.
