i gave up aquapponics a while ago , not because it didnt work ,but becausei got a bit too slack,
my question is with the organic hydroponics , how do you regulate the nutrients ? im thinking of giving his method a burl on my west facing back verandah
Hi Rob from Ipswich Queensland
Hey rob would the power feed work in a system that’s just an nft or do you need the extra surface area of the hydroton bed I’m using cambels diamond t at the moment but I was thinking going organic would be better
Sorry to hear about your jalapeรฑo ๐ that one jalapeรฑo plant would have given y’all hundreds of peppers if the storms didn’t kill it. I grew 7 jalapeรฑo plants last year and I had harvested nearly 1000 peppers in total by the end of the year. I was very happy with them!
Your little garden is looking ๐ฅ!
Nearly the same thing happened to my peppers (my plant was torn in half and the anchored half stopped producing). Who’d have thought, with our reversed seasons, the weather’s sometimes the same Down Under and in the States.
I put in some tall Waratah posts strung a top and bottom and ran some 1.5 wide wind cloth secured with clips, to protect a garden from our westerly wind works well and not too difficult to move ( Iโm nearly 78 so not to difficult) ๐๐
Ive done a dual root zone bed with fabric bags, sand and soil. I thought I’d try grow some galangal and turmeric as a litter experiment. Its growing like crazy
Guinea fowl, are great for keeping the sneks away.. at least off the ground ๐
