I think I annoyed Flow

This Video is from the Youtube channel: “Hoocho”.

I'm not mad, I'm just dissapointed

  • @TotesCray says:

Copyright strikes being weaponized against creators is disgusting.

    • @Hoocho says:

The thing that actually blows my mind is…
I can’t get over how short sighted it is… Such a petty legal action makes great content able to be weaponised in the opposite direction.
Surely they can see that before execution.

    • @davidsumsion6715 says:

@@Hoocho They won’t be getting any of my money. With such a shitty attitude I imagine they wouldn’t stand by their products if I had a problem.

    • @rjv2395 says:

youtube should ban his whole hoocho channel for this… its a really scummy move to take someones IP and show everyone how to get around it. you wonder why the price of the flow hive is so high, because of this kind of BS that forces them to sell high. they will soon go out of business because cost are to high and then it will be made is China and everyone will whine that nothing is made in AU. only bird brains pull moves like this

  • @bobsieschannel says:

Ah mate who would even dare to think Hoocho the Great would piss anybody off , shame on them lol

  • @RobsAquaponics says:

Isn’t covered under fair use? Strange you can’t change the strike.
    🍻

    • @Hoocho says:

It was the weirdest strike I’ve ever had.
There was literally no options. Not even a contest or contact.
      Quite odd.

  • @CriticoolHit says:

All this does is ensure anyone that might have bought one instead of making one will now do neither. Well done flow. Turn free advertising into pure loss. God bless capitalism hey?

    • @davidsumsion6715 says:

100%, I don’t have a 3D printer and was going to purchase a Flow hive. Not anymore. They can stick it

Haven’t heard of Flow before, but I have heard of Hoocho! Screw those jerks

    • @ThePrimeMinisterOfTheBlock says:

Same, but, be careful comments like this don’t lead to trumped up claims of slander

    • Anonymous says:

      Same 😅

  • @hellothisismax says:

Sure wish there was a reciprocal mechanism that got a company banned after 3 false copyright claims.

    • @Hoocho says:

This should absolutely be a thing.
I get copyright strikes every time I upload music from polygondwanaland (KGLW) even though it’s publicly licenced.
Pias records hit me with one.
And I have to dispute. I always win.
But that’s not the point. It would scare a lot of people away from using the legally available music.

Did Flow not watch the entirety of said video? I recall you encouraging the purchase of their ‘product’ a number of times.

As a subscriber of your channel at no point have I provided a direct financial benefit to you.

This video provided due-consideration and full-disclosure on both options. Flow appear to have ‘bitten the hand that feeds them’, the Public.

I have been saving to purchase the Flow Hive and as a result of their lack of good faith I will now reconsider.

Keep up the awesome content mate, cause you are gold!

  • @nooneatall7206 says:

That sounds about right for the Flow company. They’ve been really aggressive with any youtuber that isn’t praising them.

  • @Cronus592 says:

Glad you’re calling them out. Striking your channel for 7 seconds of their website is ridiculous.

  • @danielthompson3205 says:

0:12 well… Considering that theres a small percentage of their bee hives are faulty and do leak..
Keep ul the good work even of they gunna start pestering a small creator. -in both senses.
And yes, 1:47 i agree on those prices 😢

  • @dylansmith9215 says:

That’s in really poor taste.. they won’t be getting my business if they’re going to pull this kind of nonsense.

  • @Suchtzocker says:

Its incredible that with content like yours THIS IS EVEN A THING 😂 What a world.

  • @pappyjohn8142 says:

Ive been on the fence to buy a flow for a while due to the price. Watched that video specifically and definitely will not be supporting flow. Between alternative products and printing technologies this is now an easy decision for me. Add in weaponizing creator content and i will never support them now. Keep up the great Vids Hoocho. Ive been around since the early days and jeep coming back.

  • @abizkit94 says:

Love the visual hint at what comes in the future 😀

  • @milkybaravenger says:

Won’t be buying anything from flow now, I was going to get a couple of their hives to start my bee keeping journey as I can afford to but now I’m going to avoid them like the last plague 😂

  • @StudioPersimmon says:

I was considering buying one, sure it’s pricey, but supporting local business comes at a cost sometimes. After this? No way. You don’t abuse the system and mess with the livlihood of someone that brings so much FREE support and information to the community. You have my support hoocho and I’m glad to be a patreon.

  • @greenbionomy4340 says:

Hope they take down the claim so your channel stays safe and protected. We need your work, it’s a constant source of inspiration and innovation

  • @aonomus says:

Someone let Louis Rossman know! He is amazing at calling out companies for using copyright strikes as a means to suppress critique or open source movements.

  • @P-RJ7 says:

Was tempted to “Support the original” as you mentioned in your video and just bite the bullet on the price, but after this, they seem like an even scummier lot and I will gladly support whoever their competitors are.
