Happy Hydroponicing!
you could design and print the end caps for those exposed pins
Thought the exact same thing — but I guess since he ended up switching out, probably not as big of a concern
I bet these lights will help keep the top cap on though, which is nice cause I found myself wanting to add a locking mechanism
Great video, even with the mixed results. Get well soon Hoocho!
I’ve used the Monios-L Lights in the US and had the same concerns. I ordered the Barrina instead, and they have a “Female” plug on the other end for extensions, so it didn’t have exposed pins, however the plug is in a slightly different place on the fixture, so some of my 3D printed mounts that worked on the Monios-L (and apparently older Barrina) no longer lined up. Not a big problem as I was able to just snip a little bit of extra room. Hope you’re doing well!
Regarding the pH swing, any idea what causes this? My hydro tower had been going GREAT, and then I started to notice some tip burn on lettuces. I hadn’t checked the res in a few days due to being out of town for work, and when I checked, I had the same situation, pH had crashed to 4.1 and EC was showing like 0.3mS/cm. (Previously was 6.2 pH and 1.7mS/cm). Hope your foot is OK!
Does your reservoir base work with your 3-D printed version?
Yikes, just realized I have similar lights. Should maybe print some end caps.
I was just going to suggest this. It looks like a really easy plug to design.
Questo video è l’esempio che c’è ancora qualcosa al mondo che può sorprendere e far ridere😻
I watched this video and realized I need a new way to lift my spirits – more funny videos🧡
How do I get the 3d print file see nothing on where to get on patreon

If you were doing lots of these you could get a roll of BX cable and box connectors, cut to whatever length you need.
I use similar lights from Amazon. Mine come with plug covers for the exposed ends.
Glad you survived!
Welcome back Hoochos
I was considering subscribing to the Patreon for the print files. My concern is with the lid seeing as it’s not something I could print in one piece on my 3-D printer. I assume you purchased that separately?
What tester do you recommend for checking pH levels and honestly, how often do you calibrate it?
I have some lights like that, but that came with little plastic plugs to at least block off the exposed pins at the end of the run — might be able to print that. (But it’s still unsafe in that the pins are exposed if you unplug a daisy-chained wire.)
The dosing solution with the pourers are straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Oh. You’re alive! 🎉
You have great designs. I would love to see an updated beginners guide video on getting started with hydroponics.
i bought some barrita t5s and they come with pin covers
