Starting seeds in NF going for the past year I will be planting the tower outside !Should I get the Seeds going and the Tower or start the seeds under lights first?

  • @kathryntroyer6503 says:

I love this channel! We have a lot in common!! I live in northern Michigan and we are having lots of snow and zero degrees temps! I have only one tower garden and replanted greens and herbs yesterday, starting my second round of veggies since I moved it inside in the fall.
I am watching closely to see when the tiny house gets delivered that you showed a few days ago. I run a dispatch company for those types of sheds, plus I drive a pilot car when we move oversized ones.

    • @theaeroponictowerchannel says:

We delivered a blue one this week. I have a new video up on it! Happy gardening! Gardening in the winter is the most rewarding feeling!

  • @tracylitz1872 says:

Do you have videos on how you set up both the rock wall, and the aeroponic towers? Is it necessary to have a hose with water attached to either of the structures? I live upstairs in an apartment and I have a balcony porch but I do not have a water spigot to hook up a water hose to. Do both structures also require electrical power?

  • @tracylitz1872 says:

Off Grid with Doug and Stacey’s YouTube channel has a video on how they set up their large high grow tunnel that they put in earlier this year.

    • @theaeroponictowerchannel says:

      Thanks!

    • @tracylitz1872 says:

@@theaeroponictowerchannel you’re most welcome. One more question ❓ Are aeroponics different than hydroponics? Or are they one in the same thing?

    • @theaeroponictowerchannel says:

@@tracylitz1872 Aeroponics is a form of hydroponics. The difference is the roots are grown in the air and hydroponics the water is usually running full time. The Harvest wall is actually a hybrid of the two.

  • @MsDesertStar says:

I bought a couple of towers from a school district that was getting rid of them.

The sturdiest high tunnels I have ever seen were made by “Gardening with Leon”‘s garden shop. The regular high tunnel that went through flooding owned by Justin Rhodes compared to the Leon’s high tunnel that went through flooding owned by Arms family (which he showed the hight the water got which was same as Rhodes). Justin’s was a total loss but Arms was just plasic, frame remained good. The particulars were all on their utube chanels. Not to mention Leon’s cost less for product. They also ship & install & guarentee if they install

  • @ThinkAboutIt-2x says:

I looked but did not see any link for the wall. Where do you get wall one?
I prefer Amaranth leaves to spinach but since the bugs love them they are best done in high tunnel. Many grow amaranth as a way to keep bugs off the rest & bugs leave the grain which are heavy heads so much fewer plants than standard wheat will give huge yeald. But amaranth leaves taste like spinach but more nutritious.

  • @Danielily1 says:

Can you explain about how to care for the liquid food, the PH and the EC? I have a hard time with that. When to add the liquid, change the water and how to do it in the winter? All my strawberry plants died. Help!

Do you do your own starts? I wish I wasn’t old and could go this way other than we would have to heat our shop to be able to have that set up, but love the idea of growing year round, the weather hasn’t been so cold to where I’ve been getting spinach, arugula, butter lettuce, still got broccoli and a couple heads of cabbage starting to take form in my raised garden beds and then carrots in my main garden. Wish I could grow tomatoes as well, but they are difficult over the cold months. Love You Sweetie you are such a blessing and also to do the mushrooms in the cut tree wood, can you possibly plug them in a live tree by chance?

Stacey what’s good place to buy areoponic towers reasonable? Also soon a caterpillar tunnel? Plan put tunnels in basement(has windows facing sun) and tunnel in old filled in ground pool. I can’t talk and do at the same time , either. 😂I love watching your channel. I’m learning how food in the store is so unhealthy! Wow ! mRNA into greens? I have 2 shelves I’m able to grow lettuce celery and I’ll try spinach. In a sunny widow, in central NJ. You look healthy and sound very grounded and realistic, thank you for sharing all your knowledge. Merry Christmas and God bless you for helping who you can , all those living in tents.
