Thanks for the review! Do you run the pump 24/7? Or just during sunlight hours? 🤙

I don’t think it’s ever money wasted. Even if the products end up with defects, intuitive minds can overcome them!

  • @billbucktube says:

To seal the leakage get a roll of self sealing silicone tape. Stretch it on, finish with an unstretched wrap. No leaking.

    Thanks Mike.

  • @michaelsasylum says:

Doesn’t look like a waste of money, it’s a pretty good value for a system it’s size, and you’re educating people with it.

  • @michaelsasylum says:

That system looks like it would do well in an indoor grow tent.

Hey Mike! It doesn’t look like a big waste of money. It’s not too expensive to buy and seems to work ok.
I think I’d want to either replace that clear tube or just paint the outside to reduce the algae risk.
For me, I’d rather try to create a tower system like you’ve talked about before. Cheers!

I’ve been growing using hydroponics for over 50 years, tried everything and I’ve come full circle.

I now grow (herbs, peppers and tomatoes) using DWC and pumped air.

I’ve also built windmills for over 50 years.

All my wind turbines pump air, so I have compressed air available like everyone else has electricity, thus I have a seemingly unending supply of compressed air.

    I’m 75 & homestead in North Texas.

I picked up a similar stacking system by that had 100 holes for $35.00 on The Internets. It has been both fun and challenging as a first attempt at hydroponics. It was super easy to assemble but has taken me a long time to learn. I’m in Portland, Oregon area and deep in the rainy part of the year. Hoping this will get me some greens this winter!
