The land grab has already started. Government claiming imminent domain in some areas already. Thank you for keeping us all posted. After Michael I was without power for a month and still don’t have everything cleaned up after 6 years.

@@kjsaxon legally maybe so. All I can tell you is people are reporting they are being blocked by people in uniform with guns telling them they can’t enter the area they use to live. Claiming imminent domain as the reason. Just speculating now but guessing they have been trying to get a lot of the land up there for the resources in the ground. Maybe enough of the land owners told them to pound sand that they had to use alternate methods.

❤The Govt /FEMA/National Guard will offer minimal help – if it’s anything like Hurricane Ian (I was in Cape Coral for that.) Neighbors helping neighbors is where it’s at! Word of mouth, trade, sharing. That’s what saved us in that catastrophe.❤

My heart is going out to you and all affected by this storm. I am sending love from New Orleans where we lost TWO THOUSAND people during Katrina and had a 108 billion dollars in damage. I personally had friends drown in their home and the only thing left of my grandmother’s home was the tree in the back yard.
You don’t need to compare this to Katrina, this is horrific enough to stand on its own.
