Well it’s a sign of the season if the shade cloth is coming off. We are about to enter into our summer down under here. I have some very thin 3 mm cordage which is marine grade and it’s been in the sun for over 15 years and still perfect. I don’t know what it’s called but it was well worth it. Got it from a boating and Maritime supplies outlet.
You have a floating greenhouse?
Just cruise on over to whatever port for market day? 🤔 brilliant idea ☝️
😝 ✌️ 🤭
Thats a great idea. The cord I have was very cheap from the box store and not rated for anything.
Yep. Time to take it off. Removing mine today also.
It’s definitely a big step! Hope it goes smoothly for you.
You guys do a lot more with the shade cloths than I do. I have 10 feet of the woven fabric greenhouse ground cover on each side of our greenhouses and I leave the shade cloth attached to one side and pull it to that side and leave it on the ground until the next spring. My shade cloths have lasted for at least 7-8 years so far.
I replace clips and parachute cording every so often though.
Take care my friends!

wow that’s great. it wasn’t too hard to store away and we have the room so just thought it might be better… How are the new greenhouses coming along? Talk to you soon.
What percentage is your shade cloth? Everything looks great.
40% i would have preferred to get 30 but the 40 was very inexpensive so….
Way to go guys!!! Hope you had a wonderful time and yes time to get back to work.
Here in the tropic look like the shade cloth is permanently over the tunnel, for we have the same amount of sunshine for the whole year round
