Just great to pick a harvestwhen there was no work involved lol.We fed our cows some pumkins and picked up nearly a dozen the other day.Great find since we did not know they were there until doing a bit of slashing.Great hearing from you both as usual
Only thing that grows here without tending is thistle and even that’s dead and dry by june 😆
If I ever so much as attempted this, I would never see the pumpkins thanks to Squash Bugs.
(Seriously, every time I plant them its like a swarm descends and I have to go out every day to remove them with hemostats. Speedy little things, but easy to catch with the right tool)
