Change the World with a Bucket

This Video is from the Youtube channel: “Keep on Growin’ with Mike VanDuzee”.

It's getting harder and harder to put food on the table.

Some know how to grow their own and some don't, but I think almost everyone wants to.

Now, even though we're going through a very tough time in history, we've also got access to one of the greatest tools ever known to man. A tool that lets us connect with each other all over the world. And I know it's fun watching cat videos, but we can also use that tool To help each other out. What if we used it to connect?

Experiment. Try to figure out solutions to problems. And when someone figures something out, we openly share it with each other. Through one of the worst times in history, we can also have one of the greatest opportunities. So that's my dream. People helping each other all over the world. So much that one day we can talk about this and not say, what if.

Keep on growing.

  • @lodzluthor9528 says:

Did you use dirt as well, or would tomatoes be fine without it and just water?

It’s getting harder and harder to put food on the table so please like and subscribe

  • @ryanhopps7966 says:

    I agree, thanks Mike!

  • @stephencline1884 says:

The buckets are great but they only last about 2 years before they become brittle and start coming apart.

    • @KeepOnGrowin says:

Then that is 2 whole years of growing food for a nominal cost. Awesome!

    • @stephencline1884 says:

@@KeepOnGrowin A bucket is now $5 a lid nearly $3. I just replaced 10 buckets with lids. What I grow requires soil. What I get in food isn’t cost effective. But I do it for organically grown food. I also store rain water in buckets.

I have a question about that plastic. My plastic keeps degrading in the sunlight. Are you doing anything to stop the plastic from degrading like painting it with spray paint??

  • @LetsTalkMortgagePro says:

My squash seedlings are almost big enough to pop into my firehouse bucket. So excited to get this going! Thanks to you. ❤

  • @sandeeclingerman2992 says:

Bravo! Wish I could afford the buckets!

    • @TK-jx5tg says:

In BC, I’ve gotten buckets from the root cellar and the bulk barn free, just for asking. Good luck!

    • @KeepOnGrowin says:

WalMart delis sell them for $1. Some delis and bakeries will give them to you free.

    • @KeepOnGrowin says:

No, that’s what I teach here. You can if you like, it helps but you don’t “need” to.
