Hi from Texas Katie! I am loving the new format, getting to see more daily routine content is so helpful. It’s awesome to see the way others do things and pick up their tips and tricks. Hope the cabbage grows better for you in the cooler months- it is a great addition to CSA boxes.

I always enjoy your informative videos. At this time of the year my 36 NFT lettuce plants are under LED’s in the basement and are doing great. It’s a little too costly to heat the greenhouse all winter for a few lettuce plants.

Amazing setup. The only upgrade you might need is some paint on that expensive-PVC. PVC prices never dropped back down to the pre-2019 prices.

    • @HomegrownPassion says:

Good idea… The PVC prices are crazy every time we go and get a fitting, we can’t believe how expensive everything is.

Hey!! Who doesn’t need a little extra Boron and Magnesium this time of year!!?? Such a great, great system! Have a great new years!!

  • @graftonarchery2713 says:

I noticed you put 12-15 seeds in each cell. What is the germination rate? How many plants do you leave per cell after thinning?

  • @retiredlogman says:

Have you considered “painting” the tank so you could do away with the cover ? Does Kleen Grow help sufficiently with algae growth or do you find areas in your system where it needs more manual cleaning. Thank you for sharing what you do. A Happy New Year to you and your family.

    • @HomegrownPassion says:

We thought about years ago but just never put any effort into it. Good idea. The cover is not so bad, but paint would make it easier. You are welcome. Happy new years to you also!
