Reminds me of feral bunny that used to like spending summers visiting our chooks in the back yard. She (bunny) loved using our late matriarch Queenie as a shade cover and was often seen grazing right underneath Queenie, or just sitting in the shade spot made by Queenie (big old Australorpe, lived well into her late teens like most of our pampered chooks). Once the government released latest strain of bunny viruses, no more bunny visitor too. Which was good, as I felt so guilty enjoying seeing bunny frollick in our yard. Super cute, but better off being taken out by the viruses. We stopped having pet bunnies around the same time as, although vaccinated against bunny viruses, the survival rate around here so low we couldn’t put ourselves or a pet through it again. We now have guinea pigs instead. Much better lawn mowers. 😂
I’d love to have the little piggies back here. They were more fun than I would have admitted at the time. We have noticed a steep reduction in snake numbers since they went back to their owners though. 😅
Hope your doing well Janis. 👍
@RobsAquaponicsThanks Rob. I’m as well as I get. 😂
I know I’m jinxing myself each time I say it, but I am yet to see a snake in SA that wasn’t in captivity. Been visiting all my life, lived here now 20 years. Zilch. Was almost a daily event back up north. 😂 We do also have a giant (about 40cm long) mumma blue tongue that was here before we were. Her daughters stick around a bit too until big enough to find own place. Could be why we don’t get snakes? Touch wood though!😂 We’ve had 2 fox attacks in the 20 years, no snakes. Used to live on the edge of town, now all built in. Must mean time to move.😊
Hey buddy, I think it’s Lara, not Laura 😂
The app does the transcript. 😅Folks know who I mean so there’s that too. 😉
