Steff, good to see you! Your videos after Helene inspired us to get started prepping at least a bit. God bless you for sharing so much after that terrible event.
Hi! I’m so glad you were motivated to prep a bit.
My plan is I was behind on hearing about the pentagon talking about the fortress and listen that but we stay prepared all the time. My husband is very sick so we’re trying to buy things. I don’t have to run out. We can literally be home for a week without even starting the car because he’s not feeling well but when he gets better then we’ll go out and venture out but we can we can eat off our home. I have three deep freezers full of meat and we stock up all the time I’ve been taught that since I was young I’m 60 so we still do it and you know like we won’t go out sometimes for a whole week depending on my husband, we thought we were gonna go out today and then he doesn’t feel well and it’s kind of cold. He don’t like the cold weather so we’re staying in and we got plenty to eat, but I did I like this video but I was behind on hearing about the Pentagon and their plan and all that, but I’m OK we’re ready.🙏🏽
@deltorres2100 I’m sorry your husbands sick. I love that feeling of just being able to be home and not need. I’m glad you have that peace!
Be mindful showing everything you have
Wow, and a lot has changed since I started following you. I hope all is well with you.
Hi! Yes, I have worked really hard for two years to build out these spaces. I’m tired!!😂
I can’t quite qualify what I’m hearing. Feeling really alone because it’s been hard to get family to understand what my urgency is since we’ve never lived this way before. I’m also feeling sadness as well as a friend of mine. Although I know part of mine is my mom losing herself to Alzheimers. So I’m just all over the place emotionally and spiritually, but I just feel a major disturbance but I can’t pin point what it’s all about. I just feel like I’m behind and trying to catch up. But after what happened in 2020 and Hurricane Helene I’m paying attention to a lot more.
I’m sorry about your mom. I’m the same. I feel…..but I can’t quite pin point what exactly the threat is.
I am interested in your opinion of titanium pans. I just bought one from QVC and I’ll be try it for awhile. I just don’t know how to research safety. Supposedly, it has no coatings.
Which brand? I do a lot with non stick. Non stick coating will break down over time and although it’s “clean”, we don’t really know. I’m not sure about titatinum but I can look up the brand. I love Le Creuset and Staub that enamel doesn’t wear down even with very high heat. It’s also just sand.
@TheSteffEdit “Our Place” is the brand of titanium pan. It is supposed to be only titanium with no coating. The non-stick quality is supposed to come from the texture of the surface of the pan.
I had purchased a Le Cruset frying pan, but I understand the enamel sheds cobalt. I don’t know how much or what concentration might be toxic. Otherwise I like the way it cooks on the stovetop and in the oven. But it sticks and stains.
I don’t know what information is reliable and what is marketing and what is click bait.
(and) Thanks for doing this type of video again in light of preparedness warnings being issued in Europe, warnings about banking transaction and electrical grid vulnerability and Paraguay banking collapse. Up until now, I’ve been preparing for weather related outages and shopping/supply inconveniences.
It’s crazy how many warnings are happening world wide. Stay safe!
I’ve always dreamed of slow living in log cabin with a nice view someplace I could sit on a porch swing, drink my coffee, watch the sunrise and hang out with my animals. My mom has cows to watch from her porch swing, she has a raccoon that visits while she drinks her coffee, she puts out a plate of cat food for him every morning. I’m lucky to have a rural delivery job my day is spent in nature with the occasional conversation but it’s very peaceful. Thank you for teaching me how to use my tower garden it really helps keep my spirits high during winter watching the lettuce and spinach grow 🥬
