Can we grow onions as well?
Unfortunately, most root vegetables like onions are not suitable for aeroponic towers. The plants’ roots receive continuous exposure to 100% oxygen availability as they hang in the air inside the tower. The edible part develops underground and needs space to expand, which the tower system cannot accommodate.
