That’s really made nice, and good info, too. Heck, I’d live in it! Lol
All the bugs mentioned are my favorites, and they like me, too – every few years, for a couple of days, Lady Bugs congregate on my house (S.E. AL)in their many hundreds, mostly on the sunny side! The side with the entrance, lol, so always end up with a bunch in the house. You can’t catch them and put them out, cos more will come in QUICK as they like to hang out in the seams and edges of the door and the windows for some reason. What to do? We leave them alone – they won’t bite and they don’t eat much. When they have moved on outside, in a few days max, we open the door and windows and take off the screens, and most leave peaceably enough. Seems like it’s every 3 years for the last 30 years that I’ve been here . My 2 neighbors, both on same side of road and on either side of my place, about 100 and 200 yards away, do not get them! I mean, they see the occasional lady bug, like everyone does, but not like I said, not at all! My house is a mobile home and the only house that’s ever been on this land and I have nothing in vegetation that explains the draw. Unless they can sense that I’m cool, and won’t hurt them, so that it is a safe stopover point. But I imagine they’ve bee coming here long before I was ever here. Kinda weird about the heighbors, tho, cos that’s really localizing of the lady bugs.
