Happy Hydroponicing!
Set up a system like this last year with tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers – phenomenal growth! Only issue was some pretty wild pH swings, but I’ve found with my semihydro houseplants that hypochlorous acid keeps things super clean and super stable so will be adding this to my veg production this year. You should definitely look into HOCl – super cheap to produce at home with electrolysis and works incredibly well for sterile setups
Got 28 printed and ready to test this spring… The pots are extremely solid and I’m keen to see how they handle a summer in the sun. Have been using the original buckets for my tomatoes with great success.
Bloody hell. Thatβs commitment. Please send pics! To the Facebook group or to my business email πππ»ππ»
@Hoocho π once I’m set up I most definitely will π±
New Hoocho video = good day. Watching now, but thanks for posting regardless!
@hoocho Great idea and great design! I printed a resized one on my Bambu lab A1 mini only the walls got to thin because off the scaling down. The smaller version would be good for basil and herbs and maybe tiny tim tomatoes. Maybe i am gonna buy a bigger printer soon π
Same Farmers, market kept the seeds, as I am seeing these sweet caps everywhere in Melbourne.
This plant grows really well. I managed to get a good harvest over the last 6 months out of a normal pot soil system.
Next is to give your system a try, must prep now over winter.
May I ask what type of filament you are using?
PS. Keep up the awesome work mateπ
Thanks Hoocho, Great result πΆπΆπ
A question. Why not the bucket in white? Better in hot and sunny places.
I wish I could buy these
I just cbf setting up a printer
Have a look at the “Autopot” system.
Very practical systemΒ !

I never knew you could get capsicum that look like chillies. Great job Hoocho! those plants look incredibly healthy π
I would love to put a system like this down the North side of my house but I’d like to buy a good quality EC/pH probe first. Which one would you recommend?
looks very productive in Queensland weather, we have different results in SA & Vic
Would it be worth adjusting the design to close off the anoxic zone and simply replace it with structure? I imagine it doesn’t cause any issues on “one-shot” grows but perhaps on long running crops?
That’s awesome bro. I’m probably too high to watch timelapse of plants though, as I can’t help wondering if they prefer people to just wonder what happens when we’re not watching lol the leaves moving during the day is already trippy enough.
is there a wick inside? didn’t see it
thx 4 ur nice videos πππΎπΎπ
Mate can you just make them, and we’ll buy them!
Perfect video for pride month π
Iβm pretty sure those are a Corno Di Toro type pepper. Theyβre very productive and tastier than bell types in my opinion. Super versatile
nice setup π€
