      These systems are actually designed to allow very little water into the system as the solution tank is covered, the top is also covered with a top cap and there for the only water that can get in from external source ie: rain is very little as it needs to run down the plant into the system, which once the plants are growing, with the staggered planting layout is actually very little..
      Can someone please correct me if I’m wrong, as this is just my assumption from looking into these incredibly interesting systems…
      This is amazing, by the way, I wish to be able to do something like this one day.

    You use synthetic biology isnt it. Without soil you dont get the proper nutritions. Beside that, this is a nice solution to stop famine asap
