I live in Mexico don’t have clat pebbles or the plastic thing. What do you suggest?

Look for Leca or other hydroponic substrates
I use perlite instead of clays and matches/toothpicks instead of this adapter, When placing the jar, I use baking paper to avoid spilling water, and I carefully remove it when the jar is in the dish. I was going to use liquid glass or pine tar on plastic trays so as not to create microplastics due to the friction caused by perlite or other material, but I used paper from shopping bags. the whole thing works great.
@@RAMACRON that’s a great idea. Appreciate you input
You Sir are amazing. I might be mistaken but i feel you 3d printed the adapter? How does one (Canada) obtain one?
Thank you. I have the files on Thingiverse if you can find someone to print them for you. https://www.thingiverse.com/keep_on_growin/designs
@@KeepOnGrowin I think that instead of plastic legs on the sides, you could make 3 or 4 small holes and put matches/toothpicks or something similar in them, which will give stability to the structure, this will save plastic and simplify the structure, less plastic means more space for micro leaves in the container
Great🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
