  • @NoLyinEvry1sDyin says:

    Plus it costs $3500 !!!
Now they can ride the bus while in virtual reality

    • @laurakelso6205 says:

Yeah, it starts off too expensive, then the price drops, making people rush to get one,,,and feeling “lucky” to be able to have it!

  • @itaintobeezy says:

I WILL NOT EAT THE BUGS I WILL NOT WEAR THE MASK I WILL NOT LIVE IN A POD

  • @michellejaquish869 says:

It’s a way to escape without doing drugs but the results could be just as devastating to the user and their family

  • @northerngirlhobbies says:

Great chat. Have a safe trip Curtis.

  • @Bagginsess says:

Nah VR chat did this first, it just isn’t useable in public. And VR has been around for a while now without it really catching on. Unless people find a good reason to use it I don’t think it’ll catch on like the iphone. VR goggles make most people severely motion sick too and that’s without a augmented latency delay on reality and the cameras sticking out an inch from your eye. Nah I think neurolink is what we should be worried about, apple vision is just an expensive toy.

  • @gwenbuchanan1 says:

Good talk. BTW, I have never had a cell phone, don’t want one and have got along fine.

  • @dsulli7383 says:

    100% agree with you!

  • @hu-man8250 says:

Good point about not looking you in the eyes. If eyes are the window to the soul but yet they want to basically blind fold people. Human relationships over technological convince. Unfortunately we seem to be a large minority, keep up the good work inspiring others is all you can do.

    • @caitlin6983 says:

I feel like the masks for the coof were for this same purpose. I work in retail and people haven’t recovered yet! People don’t interact with each other the same way they used to—lack of eye contact, lack of small talk, lack of joy! I’m not ok with that. It’s not ok. And now they want to increase these issues!?!

  • @judymeldrum4016 says:

My main concern is the impact on the vagal nerve .. it exits the skull with several other cranial nerves .. that are directly effected by virtual reality devices .. the use especially by young people will effect physiology in ways we don’t yet know .. I used the Optimus in an art Gallery application .. within 24 hours I was unable to regulate my temperature .. massive gut pain then flashbacks of the imagery both in my sleep and randomly during the days following .. all vagal nerve functional feedback

    😮

  • @billconrady7565 says:

They don’t even know their own sex. Total insanity.

  • @michaelboom7704 says:

Totally agree with what you have to say! One reason I still don’t have a cell phone! I was a bit distracted during your talk but it was the snow or lack of it that blew me away as just a week ago the ground was white!

  • @davidmcgregor4691 says:

Imagine the data collection. It would record everything you see, say, interactions, inside house, work, etc. crazy

    • @michaelcolors says:

The Supreme Creator already has this firmly in place, without human beings’ tech. Every time you hear about things being recorded in the “Book of Life” out of the Testaments, or about the Akashic Records, this is exactly what this is about! 💜

    • @PrinceCbass says:

this can already happen with your phone and computers. The cameras can see what you see by monitoring your eye movements and touch screens and keystrokes can all be recorded. GPS and triangulated cell tower pings track your movements to within a few meters. Wireless routers can “see” people and animals in a room.

    • @michaelkahler4406 says:

Look at Ray Ban with Meta glasses. Your spot in with data collection. Data collection is the new oil.

  • @ratkeller9608 says:

to me the saying, “give the devil his due.” means him getting cast into the lake of fire.- google is only providing a more groundbreaking way to view the same old garbage on the internet. there will be no new things to watch, just a newer way to watch them. You are right about not engaging if things get you angry, I am reminded of the song by Bob Marley where he sings: “if you get down and you quarrel every day, you’re saying prayers to the devils, I say…” good video again Curtis. have a safe journey to Mexico, enjoy!

  • @mio.giardino says:

The thing with the election, I was asked IF it’ll make a difference… I said no, but it will buy ME time to get out of the city.
As for this tech, I’d rather be present in the situation and plant a few thousand seeds.

  • @AbilioCosta says:

Iimagine this sceneario: You get everyone to wear AR glasses and then you can just obscure whole buildings and shady stuff from the public view.
Was talking to some friends about this and that idea popped up and we we’re like “woah, this is not a good idea to fully replace our current gadjets with AR galsses”.
Seems fun and kinda cool when considering cool possibilities, like even in the rural world with thing like:
    – It saying if a mushroom is poisonous or not,
    – helping differenciate screws/car parts,
    – helping you look at schematics from a build,
    – having a measuring tape or level in your eyes,….
But then, you think about how governments and organisations work and it just feels so dangerous.

    • @offgridcurtisstone says:

And how it’s just another tool that allows people to use less of their mind and relay more on technology they have no agency over.

    • @patbuckley4039 says:

They’ll be slapping these things on babies, inject them and chip at same time. They’ll never know life.

  • @robdye2192 says:

I will not even have my phone on the table if I catch up with people. Sadly, you see it now – couple’s and kids alike on their phones while not even speaking with each other.

  • @johnkm77 says:

I am so glad that I grew up before the internet, and I really miss that time.

  • @FrenchFarmhouseDiaries says:
