Real greenhouse life isn’t always pretty 🌱😤
Even with the best intentions, some plants just won't quit! I'm tackling the persistent problem of removing weeds from my greenhouse, even those growing under ground cover. Do weeds grow under your ground cover too… or is it just me? 😅👇
That’s the start of some fine compost.
Definitely a good way to recycle those weeds! ❤
I get those wild morning glories all over my yard. They even go thru the weed barriers in my raised beds 😠 I don’t use pesticides cuz my chickens free range.
Oh, I completely understand the struggle with morning glories! They can be super tough to get rid of. It’s smart to skip pesticides with free-ranging chickens. 😊
You need some gloves!
With gloves on, you can treat those weeds the way they should be treated…
You’re right, gloves would make tackling those much easier! 💪 I might need welding gloves. Those prickly weeds are really bad.
I have one that keeps growing too!!
Oh, the never-ending battle! We’re in this together. 💪❤
those damn things! I have those and other relentless weeds in my greenhouse despite contstant pulling and spraying vinegar.
I have 6 mill plastic under the stones and they still grow. They are nasty weeds. I have tried torching, vinegar, pool chlorine, brine solution and they still grow. Ugh.
Yummy Katy!
Glad you enjoyed it! ❤️
Is it kudzu?
Great question! Kudzu is definitely a notorious weed, but it’s something else. Some kind of pricker weed that’s gets little purple flowers on it. I will take a close up pick of it and see if my phone can identify it.
@HomegrownPassion I don’t know much about Kudzu, but I do know it is an invasive weed. I think it is too hot for it to grow down here. Weeds can popped up in places we would never expect them to be.
