If they are ex commercial or the same type, they tend to lay larger eggs as they progress in age.They can get egg bound as a result.Learned that one the hard way. If they get eggbound, put them in a warm bath with Epsom salts.Supposed to help slip the egg out.Have not tried the Epsom salts but did save one with the warm bath.
