Growing food in plastics isn’t exactly great for you. Even “food grade” you still have bisphenols and phthalates in that petroleum product…

    • @theaeroponictowerchannel says:

These were found to not leach and where tested after 10 years of growing in the sun to have zero nanoparticle breakdown. It’s not perfect but these use no soil and 90% less water. Water these days is contaminated with plastics and pharmaceuticals as well as the compost you buy at the store. Compost comes in cheap plastic that leaches into the compost and when I bought it in bulk mine was full of ground up plastic feed bags. There is also the pharmaceutical issue with all the pharma going into the animals the compost comes from.

@@theaeroponictowerchannel which type of plastic is used?
I teach classes on sustainable, healthy gardening and am always interested for those with limited space and disabilities.
Unfortunately I am well aware of the state of our water supply and safety of our food. We have come a long way in supply but the safety aspect is severely lacking.
