Use What You Got Cheap & Easy Gardening

This Video is from the Youtube channel: “Keep on Growin’ with Mike VanDuzee”.

When times get tough, you got to use what you got.

So I save my milk jugs. It's about six months worth. I don't have time and money for a fancy garden. And I don't have a big yard. But I do have a wall. And a little bit of sunlight. Sometimes you got to make do with what you got. If I can do this, I hope you can too. Keep on growing.

I’ve noticed that even though you said few months ago you weren’t going to use plastics in your hydroponics, in several instances since you’ve gone right back. Not knocking, just a point that there are evils that are worse than others and at scale it would be nearly impossible to eliminate plastics, plus they just flat out work better in many instances.

Yes, I did it to help some people who are concerned about it. I did it for 8 months and have many videos for them to refer to now. They stopped the recycling programs in our area and we are back to trying to use what we got or it all just goes in the trash.

I’d love to do this, and I figure I could get regular milk jugs to work if I painted the exterior
I’d rather not use plastic in general but unfortunately it’s not feasible for my household. I’d love to be able to repurpose the jugs instead of recycling them (which likely ends up trashed anyways)
