Thanks for sharing this Mike. Cheers.
Can pea shoots be transferred to growing into pea producing plants? I’m so confused about how microgreens can be used…
You trim the tops and eat them. I have transplanted some.
Nice explanation
I am absolutely hopeless at growing stuff, but your micro-green videos have worked beautifully. I’m on my 4th batch and just ordered more containers to have a daily rotation of greens.
Yes!!!
Thank you. Would love for you to do a video of the process of growing sprouts and microgreens side by side, from beginning to end.
Outstanding. Very informative. Thank you!
Great point Mike! I was aware of this, but i don’t think i have ever seen anyone on youtube address it. 🙂 Your peas in this one actually made me hungry 🙂
Thanks, they were delicious!
Mike where do you get that container you have your pea shoots growing in?

That’s all very well, but shouldn’t you call what you called microgreens sprouts and what you called sprouts microgreens? I mean, simply because of a question of the etymology of the words and to frame the definitions in correct academic concepts, it seems to me.
No, I got it right. The name doesn’t even matter, it’s the process that is important. A rose.
I have never seen anyone grow sprouts like that in a jar. We always grew them like the micro greens.
It’s been done for decades
Leave the jar sprouts inverted always.
Thank you! Good info.
I never ever pack my jars as tight as that so I know my sprouts rinse really well. I use half gallon jars.
Yes, that was for demonstration purposes, I think I mentioned it.
Yes, the danger with sprouts is unwanted bacteria.
Sprouting for years as the primary source of winter greens. Have had zero bacterial or fungal issuesr. It’s all in the protocol and equipment. Never over pack my jars in the way you showed and don’t overgrow them. Inverted jars are raised above the water collection surface.
I honestly never knew that about sprouts, Mike, another informative video, thank you for sharing.
I’ve not tried sprouts 🌱 I’ve always grown micro greens, TFS the differences.
