I am sooo grateful you are using our donations to help that man that has been horribly treated. In my state foreclosure property owners are given 1 yr to come up with the back taxes after it’s sold at auction. Wish his state had that policy.
    Thank you Stephanie.

Listening to the Buncombe County Commissioners this week, one of the issues with sheds was no bathroom or cooking facilities. The bottom line as to why sheds were rejected there was the possibility of a lawsuit against the county if there were health issues or some liability because of not meeting code. Glad you are addressing that. Love the idea of joining two sheds.

    • @carolyntaylor7776 says:

      But they allow tents?

    • @Justme-qn2qw says:

@@carolyntaylor7776 The commissioners said no one was living in tents. It got kinda ugly, with one man telling all the out of town people they were spreading misinformation and trying to make a name for themselves. Several out of town people said they had just seen people living in tents. Denial of facts. And if it were not for the out of town people helping, we would all be dead waiting on the government.

    • @enigmatic_sunn says:

These commissioners ever heard of a waiver of liability? Beuracracy. They can find loopholes when it serves them, not others.

    • @IreneTaskar says:

If commissioners work smart with everyone, then Solutions can Exist… The goal is to shelter survivors as best as possible and Everyone Agrees….There is HOPE & Positivity for Future with God Almighty 🙏💕

    • @cherylallis2458 says:

Maybe families of people who died in tents should sue. If death is not a health hazard, I don’t know what is.

  • @CharlesGann1 says:

Thank you for hanging in there. You have devoted so much of your recent life. Appreciate you closing some of the cracks.

  • @Sister-C says:

Steffanie!!! Your are AMAZING!!! God Bless You, Your Family, and ENTIRE Community! What AMAZING LOVE we are all Witnessing!!! PRAYERS AND BLESSINGS TO EVERYONE!! 🙏

  • @TWBlack says:

Yeah saw the “update” on “scammervision” which honestly, I’d been waiting for since I really don’t know any of you very well as far as your channels go. The BIGGEST difference is you’re SHOWING places, introducing workers/recipients, AND showing ALL the ways you’re spending the donations!!! NONE of that is going on with the other person!! So thanks for ALL you’re doing!!

    • @tinasprocket2812 says:

Not only that, but she LIVES there- didn’t just show up, talking about “our team” & asking for money. I looked at here history/ the channel… I trust this one.

    • @passionatepatriot7272 says:

Can u link scammer vision please

    • @suebee1436 says:

@@passionatepatriot7272real estate mindset. What a joke…..she looks wired too. I dont know her channel i just know the stupid guy from texas i believe who believes her. Just go watch. Then….compare notes.😂😂😂

    • @kathyslaw1 says:

@passionatepatriot7272 Real Estate Mindset channel is attacking Stephanie on behalf of scammer Lacey Mongomery. It was disgusting. Those people need to go back wherever they came from instead of taking advantage of this horrible weather warfare attack.

  • @Amber-l7z says:

Sheds, YES Stephanie! My adult son and I have been homeless twice in Oregon the last time due to the reason that poor Senior was evicted. The County sold the property and the new owners evicted everyone so they could raise the rent. My apartment was HUD subsidized and my rent was $270. Now that they gang stalked me out by moving drug addicts upstairs next to me, they raised the rent on my old apartment to $1,100. They caused me a seizure, concussion and nervous breakdown. That new granite countertop in the kitchen is what I hit the back of my head on. During the remodeling, paid for by HUD for this property to continue housing for Seniors and Disabled, 5 of my neighbors died. We were bullied out by Veridian Management. They bought out all of the Counties older properties and did this to us all. They have done this all over Oregon, Washington and are starting buying properties in Idaho. Putting Seniors on the streets. When we lived in my truck, we looked so longingly at those sheds and wished we had one and an acre or two. I bought a 20 foot camper to save us, a credit miracle that somehow went through. But I just couldn’t keep paying the campground rents. I let it go back to the bank and moved back to the truck. Now my credit is ruined, all our furniture and all things for an apartment had to be given away in a 2 week period. We couldn’t afford storage. Our backs are very disabled and we had zero help. We were up 2 flights of stairs. Thanks be to God who helped us the whole 2 years. We are back in a good apartment again under the wing of our home County.

Seems I’ve watched a documentary or such about trumps son-in-law Jared kushner owning properties and doing such atrocities to people.

    • @maryjensen1888 says:

Wow you’ve really been thru alot. Praise God you have a roof now🙏💌

You’re doing amazing work. People have no idea what it’s like to get suits from the 70’s sent to clutter and obstruct your progress. This storm has taught us all a lot! We will never suffer like this ever again because we have learned how to navigate through the chaos. Love to you dear sweet sister!

  • @Oneof74million says:

I just want to say for someone who just happened to be dropped into this. You are an amazing woman, mom and Christian💕 I’m in northern Indiana and have lived in east tn. I love those mountains and am praying for all🙏🏻💕

  • @oregonfarmgirl364 says:

Those sheds are amazing. So much better than campers thin walls. God Bless you ❤️🙏🏻❤️

  • @susanstrickland6774 says:

Code enforcement, building inspector. Thank you many times over for helping these folks. These volunteers are something else. ❤

  • @donnamagers2194 says:

The key is the sheds/tiny homes are long term solutions. I’m a 69 yo survivor of Katrina and love what you are doing. I lived in a fema trailer for well over a year and the fema trailers are not the long term solution. I absolutely believe in what you are doing! As I said I believe the sheds/tiny homes Are the long term solution.

  • @goodnews6823 says:

DO NOT let them get under your skin. I started following you because you were respectful of survivors privacy and followed your shed updates with no question on your integrity. Stayed to learn about mushrooms.

You are a super warrior for Christ. Love to you.

  • @katherinecornette5315 says:

You are amazing! A true problem solver! If only our paid politicians would put this kind of effort into helping these people. God bless you!
