Starting about a year ago, I finally got string algae in my system. I never get it where it turns the water green. But I’ll be damned if I can figure out why it took 7 years to get that stringy crap.

    Awesome video mate!

  • @dufung3980 says:

I get people like to implement things without really understanding the way algae and balancing works or even how to organize crops. People should really make a small system at like 25 gallon size, balance it and upscale, I hate to think the life these fish and plants have been living in strife. Hopefully these people make major adjustments to multiple aspects, cause at current for me who’s read thousands of pages of literature on such system, it hurts to view.

Would these oxygenating plants like hydrilla do the job of a pump, pushing bubbles into the water? I always wonder why these pumps work, if the bubbles are the oxygen. They’re just leaving the water. Love your videosπŸ‘πŸ‘

  • @taffythegreat1986 says:

Is algae, blanket weed or is that different again? And why do the molecules link up? Great video πŸ‘πŸ‘
