People who are prepared are not a burden on others, and, who can help others. Prepared people are a stregnth to the community.

      It’s great to be prepared…
But no amount of preparation is going to help you when your house with everything in it gets washed away or catches fire…
      Prayers for everyone affected…

      @ Phillip ~~ABSOLUTELY AGREE 👍 💯%
I live in Florida 🌴 34 years on both coast lines, plus Kissimmee. I was blessed to have little damage due to hurricanes, but definitely realize how important to be helped. & helped.

I’m on a site that only has people who are awake and aware. Many of us were discussing W NC. One of the men used to do disaster relief. He said they used cargo containers to make emergency housing — used ones run $2-$3k. Said they last forever; are heavy & withstand high winds; easy & cost efficient to build out; and 2 or more can be connected to make a larger space. He also said they use them to span waterways when the bridges have washed out. Very interesting conversation; I took screenshots. If you want them just let me know where I can email them. Some of the others working in NC may be interested in the info also, but you’re the go-to person for housing.
Housing will be a long-term need even after winter is gone. This may be a viable solution.

    • @sharonjones7674 says:

We had an old rail car as a bridge across our creek. 🌷

    • @alternativehomesteadingchannel says:

We have placed 2 of those that were donated! They aren’t great for long term housing but they are an amazing temp solution.

    • @PilarG10 says:

Condensation is huge issue with those vs wooden tiny homes. But very cool! Esp for bridges

    • @debrathompson2008 says:

@@PilarG10 You have to use the spray foam or sheet foam insulation to insulate them just for that reason.

    • @stevehall9256 says:

In the not too distant future, outside resources will not arrive.. I prepare constantly for that day. My kids, grandkids and neighbors are my first concern

  • @victorialg1270 says:

@10:15 Mercury One is the charity set up by Glenn Beck.
Pray for those in California because much of the emergency notification system is not notifying people who should evacuate.

    • @christinegrablis5290 says:

Do not do ate anything to Glenn beck he is one of the demons. If they are in the radio or TV or have millions of followers. Stay away

    • @sharonjones7674 says:

There are no cell towers, they burned. With so many people in one area trying to reach out at once the remaining towers calls are diverted to cannot handle the volume, we spent 5 days with no cell service during the Campfire of 2018. Alternative comms are really important. 🙏🌷

    • @leahrogers5769 says:

They said they do not control the alert systems, that is state. And they are looking into why an automated message alert to evacuate all of LA keeps going out. Its not the cell service its the warning system and whoever is controlling it. Yet another piece of their systematic failure…

    • @victoriafreudenthal4528 says:

      Oh Jesus 😢

    • @victoriafreudenthal4528 says:

@@leahrogers5769exactly what happened in Maui wow coincidentally evil

Such great advice, always depend on the Lord !

Are little town had large flood in this area. A small local store, food was not flooded nor there freezer, but no electricity. Meat and frozen goods was given away, and only did cash for dry goods, this area has cash available, in case of no electricity.

  • @jackiekatz8286 says:

Im praying for the ones in the tents. I’m not rich but I will continue to donate to people that need it most. You can specify to Samaritan purse where you want your donations to go to. My heart goes out every state that has been effected.

  • @DeeDeeBirch says:

Mercury One♥️ That’s Glenn Beck and 💯 of donations go to emergency situations 🙏🏼✅

  • @beckycollett917 says:

Just as the store allowed food to rot, so there are empty rooms at hotels that could allow people to stay there and the corporation could take a tax write off! A legitimate Tax write off and be helping people transition when the weather is better.

  • @charlesmiddleton3247 says:

Thank you for all you are doing, teaching and caring for others! I am a Vietnam Era veteran with many skills and experiences that is saving up to get down there in the Spring. I’m a survivalist, past RN, carpentry skills and can do manual labor even at my young age of 72! After Katrina hit, I volunteered in S. Mississippi as a medical team leader. Any info you can give me to help in your area, please let me know! I’ve been homeless as a veteran so I know what it’s about! Thank you for your updates and all you do! Semper Fidelis!

  • @ncmtngirl2463 says:

The Ingles in Burnsville (next town/county to where Stefanie is) opened their doors 2 days after the storm
They had no internet for about a week, but took cash only for all purchases. They sold what they had in stock – until they could get a truck from the damaged distribution center about a week after the storm hit.
The next town/county over from us lost their grocery store, so we were serving 2-3 counties…
I was so proud of what our store accompl- ished in such a difficult time!

  • @EarlFaulk-v5s says:

I really appreciate all you have done to enlighten others, and the personal angel you have been to so many whose lives have been devastated. Thank you.

  • @MeredithDrennan says:

We know this was weaponized weather! They can do this anytime anywhere !

    • @carolhill8917 says:

They sure can and did but why not “make it” rain over California? Or any rain that would have fallen, might have been manipulated to not rain over the state, LA area.

    • @annwithaplan9766 says:

@@carolhill8917 – When I first saw the map of it going towards FL and curving, I knew it was another planned event, but didn’t have confirmation until days later. The powers that (should no) be didn’t make make it rain in CA because they wanted it so dry that everyone would think that the fires were caused naturally. They’re trying to remove us from many different places by various means.

    • @victoriafreudenthal4528 says:

      Definitely!😢

    • @Judith-s5j1i says:

@@carolhill8917they certainly could make it rain. Their agenda is to use DEWs to drive people off their land. They won’t stop.

  • @sharonjones7674 says:

Eggs in Northern California yesterday 60 ct $36.97, at a Walmart. I didn’t even look at the “organic” eggs but I have heard $9+ a dozen. I thank the Father my two hens are currently laying. They are pushing the bird flu here big time too. So glad I found you. You speak to my heart and I so love you bring the Father into your videos. This is all Biblical, we’ve been warned for centuries. 🙏🌷

  • @sharonjones7674 says:

Campfire survivor here. Talk about triggering, but the good news is I can share what to expect, from even the smells to cleanup to breath help. Like NC that land is now toxic, majorly toxic as is the air. 🙏🌷

  • @MeredithDrennan says:

4 months before CA insurance Co. Canceled people’s fire ins. Hmmm somebody knew something. Blackrock, Vanguard, State Street. Yep!

  • @jjde8424 says:

    Superstar Stef,
You are an amazing lady. Thank you for all that you do for your community. The state of NC should give those affected a special dispensation due to circumstances beyond your control, for the tax situation.
When I first learned about CA wildfires, I hoped that your resources would not dry up. It seems like no matter what state you live in, you are on your own, self reliance is what saves the day and hopefully a close knit Community. 🙏 ❤

    • @MrsRCope says:

But on day two, CA officials announced there would be deferred taxes on any homeowner or property owner whose taxes were coming due. NC did not. Even JD Vance said that, that should be the first thing property owners should be able to get as well as mortgage companies to defer payment “at least 6 months if not longer” that’s just common sense for people who have lost everything. Again, NC did not do that. It’s just wrong on every human level.

  • @susanstrickland6774 says:

One day at a time. God is still on the throne. Prayers for NC and Ca. 🙏

  • @katharinewooten4436 says:

The people of Lahaina are all still homeless. Not one home has been rebuilt. It’s been over a year.
Houses on the Florida gulf coast are at a rebuild standstill. Beaches are mostly closed. It’s a mess all over.

    • @alternativehomesteadingchannel says:

I think so much is going to happen back to back that we will reach a tipping point. That is one of the reason I’m passionate about the tiny homes. I feel like atleast it’s one family that has a place to call home.

  • @teresashearmire3094 says:

Crazy! I’m so disgusted with the way Helene survivors have been and continue to be treated!
