First?! Hoocho bringing Christmas early with another great system

  • @SKATEtheNATION says:

I’ve never been this early before!

  • @Kodack-ki2im says:

10:05 A little outdoor heat shrink tubing would work wonders for that connection. Just pop it on, hit it with a lighter or torch and it will seal up the connection and water proof it. The tubing has an adhesive inside that melts around the wire and completely seals it.

  • @Kodack-ki2im says:

@hooocho Aren’t you worried about light getting in with the smaller growth media pucks and causing algae growth? Also, with the upward facing funnels, if it rains won’t it overfill and wash out your nutrient reservoir?

  • @Pneumaticcannon says:

Have seen this up on hydroland for a while!

  • @djredhareaus38 says:

I just set up my nft system

  • @bobsieschannel says:

Was great see the vlog on those towers quite an easy simple setup very convenient for the smaller areas , the peat pellets fit perfect which is what i mainly use , very tempted to buy one.

  • @kimberlydrennon4982 says:

This tower system gives me a lot of hope. Unfortunately when I click on your US storefront it’s not there! Here’s a strange but entertaining thought: a simplified model of these could be slip cast in porcelain the way toilets are made, thus reducing the amount of plastic in the system, and increasing weight, which would be good in your case. No idea if that’s more sustainable than blown/molded plastic. But I really like a modular system more than single side ones that are on the market. Apparently the US is trying to reduce imports so it would mean a lot to me if you would make sure this would be available in your US storefront. The political change hasn’t even happened and I can’t find fresh coriander (cilantro) where I live. So I guess I need to up my hydroponic game

  • @pappyjohn8142 says:

Hoping you get a USA distributor SOON!

  • @Scrambles7 says:

Look at this! BIG DOG! on the up and up! In content and in hydroponics

  • @jqc5 says:

There is a product in the states called Tower Garden. It looks just like yours

  • @superkillr says:

What is the purpose of the taller holes?

  • @AtollSurfer says:

    For the Tower:
6 kg Ausi international post 1st 2 kg is $60.90
The next 4 kg are $13.80 a kg
So the bigger the box the better max 20kg

    2kg $60.90
    4kg x 6.40 $38.40
    $99.30 for international post
Plus post to Sydney, Plus $128 for the Tower
    All good.

Second Question the 5 extra sections ? 4Kg?
    And the Huck Bucket?
    AusAid will love this.
    Thank you

  • @DM-sc4zy says:

$128 seems like a good price for these towers, however depending on where you live, one side of the tower may always be shaded.

  • @davidn7795 says:

I 3D printed one of these. Great project for my balcony 🙂 I love it

  • @downunderfulla6001 says:

I was always sceptical but now I’m convinced that they work well🍺🍺

  • @irock4312 says:

great video. makes me what to buy one.

Still waiting to see a video on blueberries

  • @prndownload says:

I was about to post saying I think the wind might be a problem out in the open like that. I was thinking more that the plants would catch the wind and get blown out of the system, I didn’t really think about the entire tower going over! Be careful standing out in storms like that. I took cover in an electrical storm while walking the dog because he is scared of storms. Luckily I did because lightning struck once close by then the next bolt struck the lightning rod on the gazebo we had just taken cover under. Pink and purple lightning that day, I felt time slow down it was so powerful.

  • @davidthomas1375 says:

Bees are amazing. The propolis they produce will glue the hive together. We have crazy winds in Perth and my 3 tier full size hive don’t move. And super heavy.

  • @DangerZone-w6y says:

$128 is very reasonalby priced. Compared to the early models that were and are still priced at >$400… this is pretty nifty.
