Happy Hydroponicing!
Woohoo!
Welcomed back to Hoochos!
Smart… these wicking pots are getting super popular in home growers of herbs 👍🏼
uwu hoochoo on fire~
pretty dope design! Thanks!
Cheers mate!
nice system
You are awesome bro! When I get some spare dosh I’m gonna put in an order. Btw what brand filament do you use?
Suggest using a small cement mixer
I have one, but I needed two 😂
I really like it.. I was thinking one that was roughly 1/2 capacity for root crops like garlic, beets, onions, etc. I think we could get away with 1/2 the height, and also reduce the material required. I was just going to take the cut tool in the slicer to achieve it, but then it will miss the solid part of your lip you designed
Nice!
Hope the foot has healed up well! Glad to see you!
Man i feel like everything you are focusing on is a product video these days
I mean, anything that isn’t a product isn’t productive.
I’m trying to focus on things that are reproducible. Re- product -able
What do you want to see more of? (Serious question)
As an engineer, I give you a tip of the hat. You are an excellent engineer. Your designs show your abilities. Well done. I was going to ask about porosity but you covered that at the end. I generally use ASA, now that I can get it below $20US. It has great UV resistance. I have had porosity problems with your seedling trays, but spray paint does fix that. Thank you.
Try your hand at PETG
It’s a bit stringy (see video 😂🤣)
But it’s cheap, no harsh chems, and it’s pretty bloody watertight!
Dude, you are killing it….
These look awesome.
What a tease 🥲
I love your videos Hooch! I have a small apartment and a small balcony. This is exactly the type of thing I’m looking for.
I’d be curious if there’s a way to adapt the bases so you can daisy chain them together while maintaining water level. This would limit the amount of tubing and float valves.
If we figured out a way to do this, it would create a fully modular RGGS where you could customize the spacing and number of growing locations at will depending on space needs.
Based on your experience, do you think there is any good easy way of achieving this? Since there isn’t the horizontal float valve part of the RGGS since it’s inside one of the pots, it would also maximize the amount of space used for growing, which for people with small balconies would be very useful! Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
Where do you get your filament from? $8.40 for 700g of filament is pretty cheap.
