Does one seed per hole apply to Kale also?
No, you need to put 3 to 4 seeds per rockwool. To learn more about growing kale on our aeroponic towers, we recommend that you read the following post featured on our blog: https://agrotonomy.com/growing-kale-on-a-tower-garden/
Alot more people would buy if they weren’t overpriced
there are DIY tutorial
@AleDamas but it’s not the product being shown off in the videos. I have watched several diy plans and eventually will probably try one of those options but the modular stack ups that these are as well as several other companies are very overpriced. I Think these are pvc. Not positive. Which is a little costlier but not as bas as what they sell for. Pvc is a fine outdoor material because it’s impregnated with material that reflects UV but other companies are selling them made with other types of plastic that degrade in ultraviolet light which would leech chemicals into your food. The same goes for the 3d printed ones. The 3d printer plastic is not uv resistant and would release bpa into your hydroponic water. I would likely opt for the pvc diy type but. I do like convenience of just buying things but now everyone wants a fortune for their products. I Don’t want to go through this company because they don’t offer the option to just buy segments to fit your needs, you need to buy whole sets. And they seem to only work with the bases they make. It’s the same story for most or all of the verticle hydroponic designs from different companies. I have 3 vacant grow tents an I want to have vertical framing in them for vegetables. Probably not going to find a company with products that are both safe and cheap.
Yeah it’s overpriced. Will need a loan or something.
