    That swarm seems very passive.
That’s a ripper catch if that’s the case.
Love seeing the bees fresh combs
-Then I get to the end of vid, with tanks to the co-operative bees 😂

  • @danielthompson3205 says:

Just so those not in Australia.. Metro’s.. if there is a fire near by you have to deal with it ASAP.
It’s far to dry, and our gum trees and most the bush aroind are litterally high oil content.
We have to put fire out a.s.a.p

  • @bobsieschannel says:

When my oldman was still alive and had his bees i remember he always started his hives bare just a frame and wires , and thee hives just gave up to much honey to use lol

  • @cgurr6698 says:

Glad you saw and tackled the fire.
You answered a question about which I’ve been wondering. Would they build clean comb over the wire? Thanks
    Watching from Utah, USA

  • @jeremyemm says:

Out of interest why did you put the queen in a queen cage and what do you do with her next?

    • @Hoocho says:

So I can work through the colony without risk of rolling or squashing her. Between cuts I inspected the rest of the colony and put the hive back together.

  • @Allan-MAROONS-Williams says:

You know….you dont quite need that much smoke to calm the bee’s 😂😂😂😂

  • @AxolotlsKeeper says:

    Loving this content 🙂

  • @dillouze says:

I’d be fairly calm too after the housing upgrade! Also the fire was crazy business, glad you caught that. Love the vids 🙂
