Happy New Year to you and yours Mike
Happy New Year!
Happy New year!
Happy New Year to you too!
Hey Mike, do you think Florida sand will work as well as play sand?
Don’t know, I haven’t tried it. I use some from the home improvement center because I know just about anyone can get that.
Me! Me! Me!

Happy New Year !
Happy New Year to all from the land of KANGAROOS , HOT PIES , FOOTBALL, and HOLDEN CARS.
Mike it seems like you have gone back to LECA instead of sand ( sands good if you can get the right type )
I have experimented with about 6 different types of sand but haven’t been able to get the top layer dry enough to promote good air roots ( and it also seems too pack down to hard)
Do you find it difficult if not impossible to get a “just” damp layer of sand over a layer of soaked sand
I have not gone back, I do both to give people options. I actually like the sand better. With the glass containers, I stack the sand higher in a mound. If you use a plastic bottom, you can drill some small holes about an inch up and place the whole thing in a tray to catch overflow, or have it outside. I will make an updated video soon. Happy New Year!
I love your channel! Could you please show us how to grow tomatoes of any kind during winter indoors using the kratky method using your downspouts?
Downspouts don’t hold enough water, you need a larger container like a bucket.
Hi, been following your blog forever, do you supply outside the US?… happy new year from the Caribbean.
