Excellent video. Thanks! Very useful! Encountering issues as I grow as a gardener with the TG system. I am also in the southern continent and discovering that lettuces actually can be in full sun, and they do really well! The rockwool not germinating and having to be tossed out… seemed like a waste! This method is very practical, including being prepared to have a good bank of seeds to use so many per cube! I also buy from True Leaf Market, they have a great variety. These tips definitely make you feel like entering the next level… not so beginner anymore. Thanks! Always love your work.

Do you always start this many seeds in rock wool? Or this only when you’re reusing after failure?

  • @VerticalVictoryGarden says:

Since the oven is already hot, I normally take my failed cubes and toss them into the oven after cooking to let the heat kill the algae. New algae will restart but the original doesn’t continue to flourish.
