Peroxide as an Algaecide for Small Ponds

This Video is from the Youtube channel: “Growing Answers”.

In this video I compare my experience with a typical algaecide and the use of hydrogen peroxide to reduce/suppress algae in my custom DIY pond.

The cost of this build was around $3k because I did all the work alone. This would cost between $15-$25k to be done by pros. UPDATE ON THE WELL…I no longer use it to top off the pond. There is too much mineral content in the well water for top-offs.

I wonder if you can use it for clear self watering containers just for plants

    Copper helps alot

  • @dash-4150 says:

Get food grade peroxide, its 25%(use with caution) and the cleanest version available. If you have water circulation, use copper pipes where feasible.

Istall a piece of copper flashing under your waterfall! Pound it out and make it look cool and fitting.

  • @dash-4150 says:

Put some copper screens on your water intake

  • @dash-4150 says:

Put a cooper pot in the water, something decorative
