A link for the greenhouse canopy cover would bring me a huge smile right now if you had it available. Thanks Buddy!

Tomato in hydroponics suck up so much water. I use 1 3rd the nutrients because they use a lot otherwise

  • @ronm6585 says:

    Thanks for sharing Mike.

  • @EmpressKadesh says:

Make sure that you line that greenhouse with the little plastic squares with something like painters plastic at least because after awhile those squares start falling out and you will get microplastic in your food.

    • @EmpressKadesh says:

We need a way to go off the grid with the nutrient solution. I hope someone comes up with that.

    • @EmpressKadesh says:

I just got to the part about your scoby. I was thinking it might be something like a scoby that we can grow that will create a nutrient solution and I looked it up and saw that kombucha can be used for nutrient but there is probably some way to better optimize it. I worry that inflation will hit the krakty cool aid and fertilizers and the whole reason I got into gardening was that I have been food insecure my whole life. This has changed the game for starting seedlings for me but I worry about the cost of filling tubs all summer. If we can grow our own nutrient then this is something that will really save the world as far as people being able to grow their own food anywhere.

  • @donnaelizabethrollins7468 says:

New to your channel and new to hydroponics! Absolutely loving it. I’m gathering my buckets and supplies. It will be a transition from all the soil growing I’ve done through the years, but Im excited and grateful for you sharing your experience. Would love to gift you and your wife some pottery as a thank you.

  • @jeromebarry1739 says:

How do you keep the hydroponic solutions cool enough in the heat of the summer?

  • @heatherreadsreddit8579 says:

This old woman is happy that you have this channel, and that you’re showing your experiments, too. You’ve inspired me to attempt to grow tomatoes in buckets this year!
