Oil Well Maintenance & Tank Transfers Explained in 40 Seconds

This Video is from the Youtube channel:Homegrown Passion”.Β

Oil well maintenance is critical for keeping oil and natural gas production efficient. In this short video, Katy explains how oil storage tanks work, petroleum separation, how crude oil and brine are separated, and how tank transfers prepare oil for refinery pickup while storing brine for hauling in the oil industry.

This is real-world energy production β€” simple systems, proper maintenance, and maximum output.

    Oil floats. Brine settles.
Simple systems like this are why maintenance matters more than pushing harder.

I’m sorry… you have oil wells!?

    • @HomegrownPassion says:

Surprise! It’s a key part of our operations. πŸ˜‰ we love the oil well!!!

  • @joewarren3n1 says:

You are amazing, can grow anything and operate a rig,you go girl 😊❀

  • @danglaus2248 says:

So you sell that as well for your own

    • @HomegrownPassion says:

Hi Dan. Yes we sell all the oil from the well to a refinery. We use the natural gas off the well to heat the house and greenhouse and if we don’t use the gas like in the summer we sell it to the local gas company. ❀

  • @danglaus2248 says:

So gas is a bye product from and thats what use!?πŸ˜…

    • @HomegrownPassion says:

Kind of. You have to get the gas off to get the oil to come into the well then you have to take the oil off to get the gas. That why we run the well 2 times a day.

  • @danglaus2248 says:

So you heat the greenhouse with gas iam thinking. And any brine come out as well?
