Stephanie we believe in you. Your working in your county and through your church.

  • @connieriedel6215 says:

I believe you. You have a caring heart.

  • @elizabethcablesings says:

Honey bun we all know how real and honest your work truly is. It must be challenging to call out injustice…and also a big thank you. I really like seeing you speak deep truth. I am in Oregon. Take good care of your family. May you take time to sit with a hot mug of tea next to your wood stove. Hug your children. And keep your heart rate up. The whole country looks to your work with admiration!!!! ❤

  • @patriciabock4299 says:

So thankful that he is getting a safe warm home to live in!

It’s amazing how much work one can get done in a short period of time. 13 shed homes is awesome progress since this horrible disaster. Many kudos to you Stephanie for your diligence and ability to work and connect with so many who make these miracles happen. You are a no-excuses hard working kinda gal😘🙏👍.

  • @samjubilee6593 says:

Zoning laws need to be changed to allow more of these shed homes. Also seal border; stop drug & human trafficking. Nothing wrong with being poor and living in a shed home. What is actually wrong is looking the other way and ignoring homeless; imposing regulations that benefit rich bureacrats that do not do any real work.

When my husband is no longer here, i will prob sell this place. Will be too big for just one. My daughter has a whole block that has lots of land not used. Tiny home here i come.

  • @kfowler193 says:

i really appreciate how you are giving these people DIGNITY in their living space!

  • @susanstrickland6774 says:

Praise God for each blessing, small and large, for each volunteer, supply, and prayer. 🙏

Some info you might like to know: in Newport, TN there is a tiny home factory that builds them on axle trailers, so they are towable. Company name is “ Incredible Tiny Homes” their base model is called the “ Incred-I-box”. It is fully insulated, with kitchen and bathroom, water heater, heater for the home, full electric. Ready for move in. They are in the $25,000 range some less. There is also the other model “add a box” that is less in cost, it is fully wired & plumbed with a floor, fully insulated…..but you build in your own bathroom & kitchen. It also allows you to add onto the incredibox when you want to expand. They have website and some models are already built. In their “grab n go” area. Might be looking into if less in cost and quicker for you.

I have heard of them ~ they are nice ! That would be a GOD send for Stephanie !!!

    • @kareneDallas says:

I’ve seen their videos too & their tiny homes are great. The owner even lives in his own “Incredibox”.
Yes it’s teeny-tiny but like you said, it has a bathroom, kitchen, bed & is fully insulated with a mini-split to heat & cool it.

    • @chanchan5349 says:

I love the Incredibox homes! I also think they might be an option for some people; I’ve looked them as an option for myself.

Stephanie, love the work you’re doing 😇. What a difference you’re making in the lives of the people you’re helping!

You mentioned designing on graph paper. When I bought my 75-year-old house in TN a few years ago, it needed reno. I used a program called SKETCHUP to draw it up. Takes a little while to get familiar with it, but once you’ve got it, you can draw pretty quickly. They charge for the newer versions, but the old ones are free to download. I have the 2015 version and it works great! You just draw out your floor plan in 2D, then using the “push/pull” tool you can raise those walls to 3D. I also drew my furniture (basic squares, rectangles, & circles) in 3D, then made them into “components” to be able to move them around until I got an arrangement I liked. If you want some help, I can draw up the floorplan, but the only internet I have is my phone. If you had the same program (2015) I could send the design to you when I finish it, then you could move or add things to your liking.
Let me know if I can help; I’m a retired lady with plenty of time.☺️

Thank you Stephanie. I’m new. For some reason I came in amongst the chaos. I want you to know how much I appreciate what you’re doing. My heart breaks for the people going through this. I was donating to another church. My next donation is going to yours. God bless you, you’re amazing!

  • @BlueberryGirl723 says:

You are doing so wonderful, Stephanie! Mr. John is going to love his new home you and so many are helping to provide for him. Looking forward to seeing it done, as well as the one for the woman with the children.

Watched John Ward earlier. He was saying how there are people who are coming into the areas posing as relief workers, but what they are doing is going around asking who owns what property, then someone goes in and tries to buy it really cheap either for themselves or for a wealthy client, then they either plan to build on it and use it as a summer and holiday retreat home and/or an Airbnb when they aren’t using it. Makes you question the scammers and the real estate agents. They work together and get a benefit both ways. Those are the people everyone questions. You are not someone we question at all. We see God’s work you are doing. You have been very transparent.

God bless and keep you, Stephanie! You are radiant for the Lord’s work! Prayers going up for all of you! 🙏
