Happy Hydroponicing!
Love ur updates
You need to add a fish tank as your water reservoir. Aquaponics. Fish poop has good nitrogen.
Flow hive video!!!!!
I have been to Japan twice and every time I catch some kind of Ulta strong man cold
So many people I know have said this. It’s wild.
Excellent
Your previous approach to Kratky, maintaining the nutrient solution level from a reservoir using gravity and a float valve, was really interesting. I am wondering if I could adapt your modular tower design to have a top-mounted reservoir, and the base might be changed to something similar to a tetrapod with clamps to support the weight. While each module becomes sealed like a bucket, and a float valve is installed on the side of each to replenish the level from the reservoir via tubing.
Look after those bees, down here in the hunter varroa and govt poison programs wiped our bees out. I’ve seen maybe 3 bees in my fruit and native shrub garden in the last two years. Solely relying on native pollinators now. Fruit has been majorly impacted from when I planted my first lime tree to now.
I am looking into getting the flow hive, a review on it would be wonderful!
I’m sooooo ready for the mead making video on allthegear 😀
There’s already one over there if you’re interested.
Do mozzies avoid laying eggs in nutrient solution?
For the flip lid buckets, you could leave a hole to put a tube in vertically. Put an air tight cap on the top end of the tube and trap air in it so the whole tube floats up and down as the water level changes and makes it easy to see from afar. Remove the cap to top up the bucket.
Thanks Hocho
How do you stop the lettuce from bolting?
I give you crap for your promo plug videos. I enjoyed this one with the back to basics and actually watched through x
Great video as always. Any idea when the multi bucket hydroponic system will be available again in US on Amazon? I need these.
I love hydroland, btw.
Another great video!! Glad your back on your feet. I enjoy the updates and walk throughs as much as the detailed overviews, seeing the build, how it performs over a grow, and then get an update much later of long term performance. Excellent
Im very impressed by your multibucket design. Keep up the good work!
I think im gonna adopt your designs for personal use, as soon as im done with EC and PH tracking.
Im currently designing a smart fertilizer dosage/mixing/distribuition system for use with and without soil.
Glad to see a hooch bucket design of yours, have round pipes for once. :))
The square gutter pipes are just too hard to get by where i live.
cant wait for temperatures to get above freezing and start building.
lucky dog, free mushrooms!
Aquarium filter socks hanging from your return pipes on nft would solve the coco problem. When they clog they will just overflow into the res anyway. Mesh ones are back fluckshabke but more gets through. Felt ones last a lot of cycles of refresh
Unbelievably productive
