Gulf War Blackout 2.0: 🧡💖
Used to live in Cattaraugus county just south of Buffalo. In just one storm a few years ago, we had 8 feet of snow dropped on us in a three day period. Syracuse had 8 feet of snow overnight from the same storm. Lake effect is no joke, snow was so heavy you couldn’t even see to drive through it!
Me too brother, growing up in Cattaraugus County meant snow on the ground all winter with a forecast of more snow on the way 🙂
In regards to Erie, as a long time resident, being within 5 miles of the shoreline the snow storms are much milder than 15-20 miles south. The warmth of the lake actually bumps the area up a zone as compared to most of western pa.
