Woow Good job i like it 😍😍

  • Nilesh Galipelli says:

What nutrients are you using and plz let me know what pH up and down solutions you are using ?

  • Yash maulloo says:

hello, keep up the good work,
Can I know how much solution need to be prepared? also at what temperature they were grown?
Were the plants exposed to direct sun all day? is it okay to keep it in a well lit area, with 3-4 hours direct sun?

    • DIY & GARDEN WITH BIBI says:

Hi ! For the sulution I prepared about 10 L , it’s depend on your reservoir , always use EC test , the Ideal temperature for lettuce is 60 to 65° f
I think should be okay 3/4 h sunlight if morning sunlight .

    • Yash maulloo says:

@DIY & GARDEN WITH BIBI Thank you very much, is the 10L enough until the plant has grown? or need to change/ add more nutrient solution in between?

    • DIY & GARDEN WITH BIBI says:

You need to add water as the plant grows they consume, each time when you add water raise the EC level for example, starting at 800 ppm, the next 1000 ppm , after 1200 .

    • Hyp3beatS says:

@DIY & GARDEN WITH BIBI brother .. what is the meaning of ppm ?

    • Tiger In the Desert says:

@Hyp3beatS PPM is ‘Parts per million’. Its a unit equivalent to milligram per liter and shows how much of a chemical is present in (a liter) solution of water.

  • Skoobz says:

Just a tip.. you should add the A & B first (or whatever food/fertilizer program you are using), and then pH balance to desired pH… The nutrients can affect the pH, so it may be wasteful to pH the water first.

  • Harsh N says:

Really great video! Can you tell me the total yield you get (in kg/lbs) from this setup

  • Gbohpy Fhgkhup says:

Hi Bibi, it’s been 5 days since I started germination for bib lettuce but they don’t grow similar to yours. Like super slow germination and I saw my seedling leaves turn black not green. Thanks in advance!

  • C"S EverGreen says:

    Nice video po..
It will really help a lot specially to those who are just starting hydroponics..
    Thank you for making such💚

  • CG C says:

Another mistake was to clip off the middle of the lettuce. Of you would have clipped leaves from the outside it would have continued to grow and produce more leaves to eat 😎

  • Sandaroo D. says:

It’s so mind blowing to watch this fruitful cultivation with the background music. Keep up the good work bruh🌱

  • Racquel Bernal says:

hi, Sir. Saan po makakabili ng ginamit nio ung pinaka pot, solution and ung brown colored materials po ( ano po pala un)?

  • ashwin yadav says:

Hello, i really like your video, can you answer few of my questions please. 1) are the nutrients organic, is it good for health? 2) how much does it cost for small setup to start with ? 3) motor should be running 24/7 ? thanks 🙂

    • DIY & GARDEN WITH BIBI says:

      hi there !
      1) this fertilizer not organic , but it’s the same they use in soil to grow the vegetables we buy from the market .
      2) it cost me around 50 USD . depends on the material price in your country .
      3) you can use timer , 15 min on 15 min off.

  • Teyob Tugbo says:

Thanks po sa informative video. Sana mag upload pa po kayo ng ibang videos using pvc or other materials using pump naman po. Maganda kasi pagkakagawa ng video nyo kasi step by step at madali po intindihin. More power po sa channel nyo. Congrats.

  • ziellediary says:

Nice video! Can I ask a question? What is the average number of lettuce leaves? Thank you!

  • ً says:

wellgrow seed…… Do you live in Malaysia?Do you get all the apparatus from shopee? May i ask does the seed quality trustable? How much days does it take from seed to harvest? Anyway great video! It helps me a lot as a references.Thank you !

  • Rising Equinox says:

What pump timing have you found works best? 15min on 15 off or I see you mentioned 30 on 30 off in an answer. What is best have you found? It is strange here in the states as there is little info on this type of system where drain is in middle of pipe. This is not NFT but more of a DFT system I think. Seems to work great but no information here in US about pump timing. Thanks.

  • Russ Verkest says:

Can you please provide the details of how you built the hydroponic system shown in the video? Also, what is the spacing of the holes for the net cups? What is the diameter of the holes for the net cups? I use totes now, using the Kratky method. Although it has been productive, I can see that your system will be superior, and easier to manage. Thanks!

  • Francis Bouchard says:

    Hi ! A simple question.

Once a pod is ready to harvest, Is it best to extract it all and start a new pod with a new seed afterward.

Or you can just cut a bunch of lettuce and let it regrowth again in the same pod, same roots ?

    • DIY & GARDEN WITH BIBI says:

Hi there ! the best is to start a new seed … if you keep regrowing you will get a bitter taste .

  • Arnau Aguilar says:

Really nice video! Very useful for starters.

Two recommendations, first the video is really cool but a bit slow, iwatched it at 1.25 speed and it plays much better as a watching experience.

Second for everyone copying the system know that his is not a true NFT(nutrient film technique) there is too much water here I the pipes, 2 liters per minute is the right amount if I’m not mistaken, this creates a small film of nutrient solution in the bottom of the pipes, the netcups should rest touching the bottom so the ruts can extend there and catch nutrient solution.

But really nice video, keep it up!<3

  • ApandaLynn says:

Beginner here. What is solution A and B?

  • Meeko says:

Hello! Is there a specific name for this method of growing with hydroponics? Me and my classmates are conducting research and would like to use this method for our research ^^
