Hurricane Helene’s Wake-Up Call: Why Self-Sufficiency and Homegrown Food Matter.

This Video is from the Youtube channel: “The Aeroponic Tower Channel”.

Hurricane Helene's Wake-Up Call: Why Self-Sufficiency and Homegrown Food Matter.

In this video, we explore the aftermath of Hurricane Helene and the devastating impact it had on Western North Carolina. As recovery begins, we see how many were left vulnerable—without a way to feed themselves, cook, or access clean water. This tragedy serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of self-reliance, preparedness, and food security in times of crisis. I’ll share practical lessons on why growing your own food, having alternative cooking methods, and ensuring clean water access are vital for resilience. Learn how self-sufficiency can protect your family and steps you can take to prepare for future emergencies. Don’t wait until the next storm to take control—start building your food security today.

Hi I found your channel because somebody copied you to bitchute about H Helene recovery. I watched a few of your videos and you are a very impressive, inspiring strong individual. I love diy food production you educate people on and I noticed you balance info out and try to find what is objectively true (and what is subjective or rumors) and right for you. I have not watched this video, yet, will watch now. Thank you for great content. I wish you and your community strength in the coming days, weeks and months now things are different. Greetings from Europe

I can’t tell you how much you’re speaking to my heart. I’m sending you so much love and appreciation. And I’m listening and I’m learning. Thank you so much for your leadership.

  • @rickirizarry5079 says:

This would be a good opportunity to “preach” and educate WRT growing food, water filtration, etc. Many people’s minds will be open to this.

  • @ManifestWwalth says:

God bless you thank you for sharing what’s going on there. You have touched our hearts.

I’m in the Texas hill country. We’ve had tragic floods in our area but nothing like the huge overwhelming damage and loss that your region is navigating through. My prayer is that this is a major wake up call for everyone with eyes to see and ears to hear. You have inspired me! You are grounded and so right about where we are as a society. We have a lot of beliefs in common and if we lived next to each other we would be great friends. I’ve grown a garden for decades. Dealt with all the challenges, all the weather, etc and I’m looking at your beautiful thriving greens and thinking it’s time to dive in to the hydroponic world. So with you as a guide, here I go. Thank you precious and wise internet friend for your self sustaining guidance and contagious confidence.

I too am in the Texas hills and have spent the week planting food for winter … thank you for the reminder … plan on delving deeper into hydro towers and edible mushrooms … I really do appreciate the way you have gotten all of this information to us!!

    • @wheredidthebellsgo says:

@@thewind4578 Hi there neighbor! Just ordered my hydro tower this morning. I ordered the Flex and now cleaning and clearing a new space on my deck. Garden and greenhouse got absolutely hammered by the hailstorm last spring and the epic ice storms before that.

It’s nice to raise your on food. But let’s just say you have everything you need and been doing it for a long time, but the flood eaters washed your house and all that you have done is gone you have nothing but the clothes on you back what would you do. I prep my self and family. But I think people need to look at where they live and prep for that region. Me in Mississippi I prep for hurricane and tornadoes. So it’s a great video and awesome information thank you

I stumbled across your channel recently. I’m a nomad that is traveling and completely self contained with my own power and am learning more about the aero growing method for my food. My berkey cleans water for me. You are here on YT for us all to learn from . We need to get back to basics of living off the land and being self sufficient. Thank you for being a wonderful inspiration of source we all need at this time. 😊❤

I don’t live far from you, but didn’t suffer negative effects from Helene. I am starting to get my house in order now. I need to make sure I can provide food for my husband and children WHEN and not if the bottom falls out for this area as well. I have a feeling it’s coming for all of us.

  • @roberta8377 says:

I got overwhelmed with growing tomatoes, corn, peppers and cucumbers this year. They all were very productive. I canned more than ever and froze a lot too. I need to plan my gardens better.

    • @berlimarkle7983 says:

That is a great problem to have. You can also preserve tomatoes etc. by fermenting with salt. I love the youtube channel ” off grid with Doug and Stacy”. She has a fermenting book out. This is much healthier and nutritious than canning, which cooks away nutrients.

Loved your comment on skills. Also saw and old survivalist from the 60’s mention putting wheat berries with hot water in a stanley thermos overnight. Ready to eat inthe the morning. Thanks for all your efforts and shared wisdom.

God provides wisdom in many forms and ways. Thank you for your shares. We are so spoiled that having nothing is a real eye opener. We need more of your lessons. ❤

  • @a.p.5429 says:

I really appreciate the common sense info you are sharing. You have been a source to tell my friends and family about the disaster. News does no justice.

  • @23mcgraw50 says:

This is not coming from a judgemental place.. we MUST get past those trying to connect preparedness to being a conspiracy nut. This is a propaganda technique kinda like being smart is nerdy. Being of the mindset that there may be times when no one may be available to come may save you & your families lives. My prayers go out to all affected 🙏

    • @SabsmomaSabriel says:

I agree. Also it’s crazy that up til like two hundred years ago no one in history lived with power and now our whole country would be crippled without it. I wonder how much knowledge has been lost.

  • @candacenagle505 says:

Feeling grateful for finding your channel. You are immensely generous and I am sending you a huge hug!!!
