yes thank you for that i am new to this and i think that i need it so thank you 🙂
I had no idea to the hydro store we go again lol
There are a few different Clorox bleaches & none list the 5.25 % Which one do you use ?
My DWC is starting to smell a little off. I think I may have to add a little H2O2. I wonder how do use nutrients with it.
I have 3 separate DWC buckets so they are isolated. The bucket in question has water that is little over a week old. Almost ready for a water change.
In my dwc my roots were brown and nasty I have a 5 gallon tub with 6 3 inch net pots I put 2 teaspoons of 3% h202 within 20 minutes roots were white and no brown what so ever
Do I dip it in only hydrogen peroxide or dillute in how much water
Could you make a video updating your views on H202? Thanks.
This is great, thanks a lot for posting
Hey jude, sorry I’m from indonesia…
I have long been a close watch on this … and I’m very interested ..
so whether H2O2 35% that you wear is a type of “foodgrade”?
here is very difficult to find food grade H2O2 ..
What do u use to sterilize the seeds and avoid molding? Wont Hydrogen-peroxide have an effect to the animals since i intend to make animal fodder?
🤦🏽♂️ it’s a dawgawn plant 🪴 not a dog bruh.
Nice, I have just set up my first hydroponic system , Been growing in it for about a month or so, and have about 600 plants.. with more on the way.. So thanks for the post about Hydrogen peroxide .. Guess I need to get me some of that.lol
I am in India (Mumbai). I am trying Hydorponics. I have few plants suffered with root rot problem. We don’t get here 33% H2O2. However I have managed to get 3% H2O2 mixed with 1 ltr of water. I want to create ICU unit for sick plants of mine. Where I want to use H2O2 only for plants which has root rot issue. I would like to know how much my liquid (3% of H2O2 mixed with 1 ltr of water) I should mix with normal water and how long I should I keep my plant in this water? my plants are tomato plants 20 days old 6 inch tall
.
Just start at very low dosage then work your way up. Also you can keep it in the system as long as you like. Make sure ph is at 5.5 to 6.5 and add the peroxide every feeding but very low doses like 20 to 1 even for the 3 percent peroxide. Also if you can get seaweed kelp the cold pressed kind it will help them handle stresses much better. Give kelp and peroxide to the healthy plants also very low dosages at first then increase slightly. Rain contains small amounts of h202 as well and no one can do it better than nature.
+Kamran Sadiq thanks
I have had the idea to make a H2O2 sterilizer on the intake of my air pump. simple fill a bottle with an attachment large enough for the intake. have a tube from the top to the bottom and an air stone bubbles the air through H2O2 sterilizing the air before it bubbles in my system.
It could be handy, except the bad stuff on the inside of the bubbles may not be able to interact with the peroxide. Think smoking a bong.
Also, you would need to replace it All.The.Time!
So good for thinkin, but I don’t think this particular idea has legs.
Cheers.
PS: To sterilize my air I put a lil box around the air pump, and hooked up a UVC light. Usually used for air cleaners/filters, water treatment (for drinking), and sterilizing spaces (when Ozone isnt as convenient). That would kill any pathogens floating by. Just DO NOT LOOK OR EXPOSE YOURSELF TO IT!!!! It WILL kill you, but first make you go blind, give you horrible sun-burn like symptoms, and then you’ll get the cancer and all your skin may fall off b4 you die.
So ya, its a great tool, just use it properly 🙂
I just put 35%food grade today 1 teaspoon to 5gal .. I will see what happens..thanks I knew 3% would not be strong enough before I seen your video ..good info to have note warning use gloves…. bless you ..
Kerrville TX hey man, does this help?
Good job bro. You explain things very good.
When you say you’re adding 3-5ML to your system, in to what volume of water?
3-5ml i would assume per gallon of water but that sounds a bit on the high side, my 29% bottle recommend 1.5ml per gallon in your reservoir and 3ml per gallon to dechlorinate water 24 hours prior to adding it to your res.
If it’s only 3%, do a Tsp per gallon of water
I am just getting started and put several plants in cups with water and a small amount of growing solution. Should I add an eye dropper of Hydrogen Peroxide to each cup, not add anything unless a problem is noted or perhaps just a single drop of 3 percent hydrogen peroxide to each cup?
You say “add 3-5 mL to your tank ” how many gallons is your tank ?
i probably think he meant per gallon but good to ask. IDK.

nice video! do you think a uvc filter in the waterdirculation damage the nutriens?
I’ve been doing hydroponics and aeroponics and the helpful discoveries have come a long way on youtube. To clean my systems I run pool shock through them for pennys. I then use fresh water and plant my plants with nutrients and peroxide. The reason I had to learn about disease control in my systems is because I grow outside in tower gardens and the temperatures of the water are non sustainable @ 70 degrees and under and pyrithian (spell check) root rot can start in a minute and moves rapidly through the systems and it’s hard to kill and recover from if not detected early on. The consistent use of peroxide keeps things clean and healthy through a spring through fall growing season for me. Thank you for your measurements for the 35% peroxide. is it as corrosive when diluting it in 20 gallons of water? I’ve been using 12% but with 4 systems I go through gallons and was hoping using 35% would reduce the number of bottles I have to buy. Thank you and happy growing
