  • Nicholas A. Plazio says:

You do an awesome job of explaining this method completely and succinctly. I can’t wait to try this. Thank you.

  • Suzanne Ulicny Ward says:

You’re videos are so simplistic and inspiring๐Ÿ˜Š Thank you so much for what you do. I’m an older outdoor grower who will retire into RV traveling and this is a perfect way to continue having fresh veggies and gardening ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

Excellent instruction in this video! Thank you for posting your experiment. I’m just getting started and this was very helpful.

  • Judy Miller says:

Thanks for the video. I’m going to set up a garden outside, but this is awesome to have lettuce all the time. I live in Arizona and we can plant almost all year. I’ve been wanting to set up a simple hydro system like this. Glad I found you. I’ll be working on mine this weekend.

  • Tara Walker says:

You have inspired me, sir! I am growing my first hydroponic plants – kratky, plus my aerogarden. I’m so excited to see the progress!

  • Keto Lifestyle & Vlogs with Alvina Rayne says:

The best no fuss video on this I have seen, thanks for making it so clear and to the point! ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ–’

  • TS Lee says:

It can be a bit difficult to see the water level against the black background. I suggest making a second slot at the opposite side of the container to let some light through. You can put a cardboard flap over the slots when not monitoring the water level to keep the light out.

  • 1caramarie says:

Another great video. Dollar Tree sell container like the painted one for $1 plus tax, so each would be very inexpensive to make, without having to worry about algae. Way less expensive and better concept than the hydroponic systems that I have seen so far. I’m going to be growing more food indoors and this video is just perfect. Really glad I ran into these channel.

This one is interesting. Adding to my list as Iโ€™ll need to try this one day. Trying your lettuce in solo cups and I am learning a lot. Adjusting as time goes on. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Absolutely brilliant, simple, unexpensive, easy and efficient explanation….I shall start this as soon as the confinement is over. Thanks you so much.

  • cUser says:

Thank you for this well thought out video. Weโ€™re apartment dwellers in Chicago and like lettuce that is costly at the grocery store. Your steps will help us to grow.

  • Paul Callahan says:

Congratulations on a fine video. You are far more clear and precise that the vast majority.

  • Moi says:

Absolutely brilliant. Best how-to I’ve seen thus far. And I’ve been binging. Everyone else made it seem so complicated but after watching your video I feel like ” I can do this!” ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ

  • Leanne KenYoung says:

I love your videos! One question as you begin to remove lettuce to eat off of the plant will it continue to grow and how long does it remain good to eat and keep growing? I am growing indoors and Iโ€™m trying to create a self-sustaining amount of food to grow. I really appreciate your insights in to how long it takes to get to each of the various stages!! ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

    • Sappy Samurai says:

Yes you should just cut from the tops to eat the amount you want. Lettuce will continue to regrow from the heart. Just leave 2-3 inches of heart alone as you cut the top of leaves to eat.

  • Elizabeth Sulzby says:

Thanks, very clear. Just at the time I needed to see this. Starting my lettuce bowl in hydroponics tomorrow!

  • jps99 says:

Thanks for the great video. I like how you are using individual, smaller containers in your version of Kratky method. I was agonizing over tubs and bins and was probably overthinking it. Following your example I can start slow and learn by doing rather than jumping in and spending $$.
