I look forward to July to see what that big clove looks like…2nd one closets to the tunnel…just to remind myself. Amazing how soft and fluffy the soil is. I wish I had soil like that but caliche and limestone is norm for me. Really great video and thank you!

Perfect. Love planting garlic. It’s a crop all gardeners can have reasonably good success with. This year I’ll be planting my usual variety – Sicilian – but also trying a new variety – Norquay. My garlic dealer (ha ha) suggests that I put the bulbs in the fridge for 30-45 days prior to separating and planting so they go through the vernalization process. So far since doing that, I’ve always had great garlic crops. Won’t be planting as many as you just planted, but pretty close! Gotta love a woman who owns her own tractor and tiller 🥰 And all that bending for planting is great for the hamstrings!

Another great video Katy. It is always so great that I can come away learning something new. I was always told that the pine needles were a no to use. I am excited to learn that I can use them as we have an abundance of them around us. Don’t lose track of that one garlic clove I want to see how it grows. Thank you for all your hard work and sharing girl and keep up the great work.
