Homemade Hydroponic Cloner

This Video is from the Youtube channel: “HowToHydroponics”.

A simple hydroponic cloner that can be built by just about anyone. This little cloner will get the job done just like to big expensive ones but at a fraction of the price. Don't let people tell you hydroponics is "expensive" or "complicated" because it isn't.

Use a cloner like this to turn one plant into many in half the time it would take to start one from seed.

when drilling through plastic have the drill spinning counter clockwise. It will melt the plastic instead of cutting it, much smoother and effective.

  • ABUFARAH says:

is it necessary to include the bubbling system?

  • Mathias List says:

1:31 you can burn through styrofoam or just use some heated metal … there’s no need for drilling and it might even be harmful

  • Ben Hansford says:

Put your drill in reverse then cut hole for picks

  • Joe Frankum says:

For the neopremes a cheap solution is just cut slices off a pool noodle with slits half way to feed the stem in, very cheap and just one makes plenty plugs😉

  • David m says:

Cut holes in reverse next time won’t have the cutting issue

  • sillydog70 says:

Drill the holes backwards next time

  • JeagerTv says:

Got to be honest man that looks really sloppy. Try getting a pilot bit and drilling in reverse next time. Also you would have been better off heating up the saw or just pushing it through the foam with the weight of your hand on a flat surface.

  • Mary Pead says:

    Great video, thanks 😊

  • Suicide Collector says:

The secret in drillivng the holes is put the drill in reverse, cleaner holes even if you’re doing it in plastic.

  • Nastja S1 says:

would like to have some cloning lab at home.

  • Hadsatriani says:

Question when cloning do you put in the water ? Or above?

Also how do u figure out how much nute’s with water to the size you build?

  • Patrick Mcmanus says:

Tip – cut the cutting underwater so a air bubble doesn’t form in the stem.

  • Sin Eater says:

You can use Green Styrofoam, way less mess…😁💨💨✌️

  • David Mathews says:

Do you have to have the cloner under lights?

  • MissCookie8260 says:

Pool noodles form the dollar store work great and cut super easy.

  • Infinite Adam says:

Just needed to use the drill bit to center the door hole saw bit.

  • cheiftain says:

I bought a fridge organser a air stone and some foam . Works everytime

  • Do You Even Grow Bro ? says:
