I love being in the high tunnel. This is where I learn the most from you. Thanks
God bless, take care and be safe.
Love the video, ha ha ha ha Bella. There’s Houston, nice to see his smiling face.
I like that vertical planter, that would be perfect for myself and I lack good space. Thank s for sharing!
I enjoy how you share details of what to do in your own backyard. That high tunnel is awesome. You have me wanting a good salad.

Lo
Your tower planter is really doing well! The hydro plants are amazing too!π
My two tower planters fell september 11, 2001. I sense conspiracy.
The first time I saw hydroponics and grow lights used was in the 1970’s by the pot farmers in Washington state growing weed in their closets. I hadn’t seen that before because I’m from California where people just grew outdoors. The marijuana farmers have always been on the forefront of hydroponics and grow lights. Whether or not you agree with the use of marijuana it’s still worth picking those guys brains, they have this stuff down to a science.
So true

Stoner insights can be profound, I appreciate my smoker friend’s wisdom. Personally I don’t prefer mind augmenting substances, the media already scrambles my brain enough.
I’m not sure I quite agree with this. They’re specialized to a high value crop which is why they were always on the cutting edge of tech; it was worth the investment. But their advice is always geared towards the pricy options worth more than your crop
Bella: “You poor fella. You are talking to yourself. It’s ok. I am here to help.” Lolβ€
Daniel, your passion for growing your own produce is proving to be extremely successful… All your plants look healthy and delicious… Great job and thank you for sharing your knowledgeπ
I wasn’t going to get into planting this year. With COVID-19, we’ve been so busy and stressed, I’m a nurse and my husband works in hospital as well. I have to say, the hydroponic tubs look pretty great. I wouldn’t have to worry so much about watering and pests getting into the beds. Thanks for sharing Daniel.
Great video brother. Real down to earth explanations. I ran across your videos about a month ago when I decided to do some more research about hydroponics. Your videos are by far the most practical. And you don’t just teach facts, you share experiences, good and bad. Keep at it. I hope you, your family and your homestead prosper greatly this year.
Yy Ty yyy
Rooted in water rather than soil so “down to water.” Metaphor police here, I just got reinstated after shootin’ at african american poems, I’m trigger happy when it comes to allegory. You’re lile “who is this weirdo” idk have a good day Shawn, welcome to my brain it’s a real screwed party.
@@bluedot7817 Haha. “A mind is a terrible thing”.
Thanks for all of your gardening advice. I plan to get my 6 year old granddaughter to help me with gardening this year. I have mostly raised beds but I will now try some Hydroponics. God bless you and your family!
This is my first comment on your videos, after a few years of following. I just wanted to thank you for your service to the community as a LEO, and by way of spreading knowledge via YouTube. Youβre and inspiration AATW!
I saw your other video last year. It inspired me to start gardening this way. I used to have a black thumb. I now have a squash plant growing.
Please please make more of these videos.
Loving your videos since I found you in March. I javelin started 2 55 gallon hydroponic gardens. One has 2 banana peppers and they are doing great. I repurposed small coffeemate containers for pots. The other barrel has 3 varieties of cucumber and 1 cherry tomato. I have already harvested the first cluster of tomatoes and cucumbers just started to blossom this week. I followed your instructions except I star with water from my koi pond. I water everything with fish poop. I have had to add a couple gallons of water a couple of times but that came from the koi pond too. I have two more barrels to start soon. Can’t wait. Thank you so much this has been a lot of fun. Hope it holds up in florida heat.
Give Bella a kiss. π
Love the beautiful plants you have π± and inspiration you give.
Your fur baby like mine, wants to see what I’m doing and trying to grab some veggies to eat. Stay safe and blessings to your family.
I did a cucumber, cherry tomato and believe it or not, a corn plant in 5 gallon hydroponic buckets. They grew so much faster and produced so much fruit. Can’t wait to do more this year.
My wife buys a lot of cucumbers that never appear in the kitchen. “Art project” she says. Is she hiding something from me Dan? Those cucumbers are my golfing buddies I’d be shocked if they were screwing my wife.
Iβm from Baton Rouge Louisiana and I worked for a hydroponics tomato grower. He would buy bags of pine bark and plant the plants right in the bag of pine bark and it was on a drip system that came on every few hours they were not sitting in water but there was also no soil
I read that with a heavy southern accent. Does cajun food taste better during Mardi Gras?
